Absolutely love this store and the staff and it has improved incredibly since the new management has been there.. always polite professional and the store has products where they're supposed to be unlike so many other Dollar generals ❤️❤️

The store manager Jennifer and associates Devin were absolutely amazing! As the only two employees in the store on a busy Saturday afternoon they managed to hold it all down between cashing out customers, locating products for customers, stocking shelves with holiday items, and picking up errantly discarded items these two are super human! Jennifer and Devin were friendly, courteous, engaging, humerous, clearly over worked yet very much exhibiting pride in their work ethic by maintaining poise and grace. Give these two exemplary store associates praise and much needed raises!!!

I have to share my appreciation for how far this store has come in the last year or so.Living nearby it's just a great convenience to come into a store that has become extremely customer service oriented, impressively organized (considering what it was) and help reliable this place has become. Prior to this new management I remember most days there being a sign on the door saying they're closed don't have the staff or whatever and walking into total chaos it did nothing but caused me wasted time and energy going there..BUT THAT'S NOT THE CASE ANYMORE THANK YOU SO MUCH PORT EWEN DG

Looks pretty bad in here. Can barely get down the aisles. Product thrown every which way. I don't like to give anyone a bad review because I know stores might not look tip top when they are getting a delivery..... but it's not just product that hasn't been stocked yet. The store literally looks like a tornado hit it. ?

Well....I stop on occasion only cause of convenience....but the store is a dump. The aisles are always a terrible mess and the employees couldn't care less. I was in just yesterday and while one employee was sitting on the wall in front of the entrance smoking a cigarette ,the other employee was slumped over the counter at the register on his cell phone.Meanwhile I am literally standing in garbage on the floor while checking out. Seems there was a paper bag on the floor for unwanted receipts of which no one seems to make it in the bag. There had to be 25-30 receipts all over the floor in addition to other trash. The employees who work there have zero work ethics. Who hires these people?

Always good for that last minute thing you need and don't want to go miles to the supermarket for. Update 8/7/21 place is turning into a real toilet looking store.

I love the $5 off $25 every saterday...but my local Dollar General is always a mess. I hate walking over things in stores. I also would notate that if someone isn't working stock they shouldn't leave carts in aisles all over the store.. you have a stockroom, please use it. I also find a lot of the female staff not covering their nose with their mask which bugs me because I am high risk for deadly lung infections....and probably will die if I catch covid. Otherwise the staff is pleasant.
