“There's a Hidden Gem in this place it's their chocolate milk I will not lie it's like melted ice cream it's awesome I go there once a week to pick it up. Plus how can you beat their prices LOL. Every time we've gone there everybody has been very kind and nice and helpful. But if you do want some really good chocolate milk and strawberry milks good too don't let the 2% scare you it's really good”
“Its alright workers are extremely nice just wish it was more organized and less messy other wise it would be amazing but you can barley find anything due to how messy it is, and I dont blame the staff mostly the people who dont put stuff back where they found it, move stuff around but not putting it back, or parents who let their young kids run free around the store opening things or putting things other places. wish customers were nicer in Dollar stores”

“I’m sorry all these reviews are so negative, but living in the Rosendale area, I go to the dollar general a lot. I have had NOTHING but the best experience with the staff. Everything is where it is supposed to be, and the manager Daniel has literally been the most helpful, kind, hard working, accommodating manager I’ve ever come across. You can tell when people care, and the way he runs his store, you can tell he does. I love this location!”

“from what i’ve seen the the newest manager blake has really turned this store around in the best possible direction. i had stopped in at the port ewen store and i was in utter shock, i couldn’t believe how much cleaner, more organized and better managed this store is now in comparison to how it had previously been like about 6-7 months ago when i had been here last! service is beyond exceptional and the parking lot isn't filled all over with carts or garbage anymore! keep doing a good job port ewen dollar general!! i definitely recommend this location above any of the others in the area!!”
