I was trying to open a business account. It was pathetic. Waited 45 minutes then agent said that they don’t have enough time to open an account. It’s ridiculous. Worst experience in my life

I will be closing my account today. After calling the branch to have a security hold put on my account, do to a breach, I was informed to call customer service. I called the customer service number and the party did not understand what I needed. It was a lack of communication, understanding and language barrier. I asked to speak to the security department and once again was faced with someone that did not understand and didn't have answers to my questions. After trying to maintain my patience, keeping my frustration in check, someone was able to assist me and put a hold on my account until I could get to the branch. This took 35 minutes, 34 minutes longer than necessary, since it only takes a hacker mere seconds. I'm appalled with Citibank that they are now outsourcing employment. On a higher note I do not have any problem with the branch. We have been loyal customers and I hate to go.....but after this morning I'm left no choice. This was a terrible experience.

Complaint DetailsI made purchases from Home Depo on 9-20-22. I recieved a bill and credit card in an incorrect name, unknown to me. I reported this and asked for a corrected bill. I recieved bill in my name with same account number as previously billed. I reported this and was sent a bill with different account number, but a late fee and interest was being charged. I disputed the late fees and interest. I was told charges would be waved. As to date, 12-2-22, I have not recieved a corrected bill. I have made numerous calls to City Bank, as they do billing for Home Depo. They promise to fix the issue but have not. In addition, someone has used my social security number in an attempt to open up a credit card. City Bank has not resolved this problem as well. I am asking for your help so I can pay my bill, (correct bill) and get rid of Home Depo and City Bank. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Kathy McNulty as to date 22- 22-2022, City Bank has not resolved the fraud matter, or corrected the billing on this account.

Citibank DOES NOT CARE about its clients. They can make a mistake and correct without a problem. But when its the customer, even a 25 year one, they JUST DO NOT CARE. Can't wait to change to Chase or BOA. Beware of Citibank and its useless customer service.

This review is as a person using citi to pay credit card payment for very first time.Overall nice looking bank,However. here are somethings that really turned me off on this branch..1st.. they open at 10 am on saturday,, While my main bank opens at 830am..2nd.. the long wait to see a teller..Had 13 people on line waiting.2 people got frustrared on line and walked out of bank.3rd..2 people using thier debit card at bank..Both were very vocal about thier discontent with the bank service in helping resolve issues with debit card issues.Enough so where they stated going to closeout thier accountant an find a new bank....Think bank needs to possible update personal bank staff..Again not a member of bank ..But think they need to re evaluate the amount of bank staff and thier banking hours..This does not reflect on the bank tellers,, They are very sweet and nice.. JUst from what i saw and experienced..

I'd like to give a shout out to the man at Citibank who stopped and helped me find cash that flew out of my pocket because of the Winds. And also thank you so much to the manager of that Citibank who came outside to help me also find some cash that I lost. It would have been a $200 disaster but because of your kindness it was only $100 disaster

I have been a Citibank customer for 16 years. Die hard citbanker! I've dealt with multiple branches throughout the years and let me tell you.. this one and it's staff are tip top!!! They've always handled my transactions promptly and professionally and have made me and my wife feel like family over the years!! They've even opened up 15 minutes early for me sometimes! THANK YOU for all your amazing service and professionalism, you have a citi customer for life!

Used to be a much better bank. This was EAB before they were purchased by Citibank.
