I was in the store at the end of July… And purchased some hanging crystal trinkets that cost $20 each…. I bought two of them… And some other items totaling about $50. That was the first day of our vacation and from there we went to other places and didn’t get home for probably 12 days later. When I finally opened the wrapped up packages, I noticed one of the hanging crystal trinkets was missing a whole side. When I called the store, the employer who had inspected and wrapped everything apologized because she should’ve caught that. She called the owner. The owner never called me back…. she had her employer call me Back to handle the issue… Which is unheard of. Most legitimate stores with a legitimate owner handle any problems with their merchandise…. Not make their employer, clean up the mess… Their solution was to mail the product back which now I’m already taking a loss, Instead of sending a prepaid mailer…. And the owner refused any other way or even talking to me on the phone…. Why would I mail anything back?…. They would find a reason to keep the product and I’d be out the product and my money…. Not very happy at all… The owner should be ashamed of herself and your products are junk… That was our first time in Port Jefferson …and it was the First Store we went Into….. I wish I never walked into that store .They do not back up their product and the owner is a bit of a coward hiding behind her employer that had never had any intention of doing the right thing…. Buyer beware…. Better yet ….just avoid the store altogether?

I always find something I want here, and as a minimalist, take that for what it is. While I find the books overpriced, everything else is actually a good deal, and a very curated collection of oddities but not usually creepy ones (except those scorpions). Always a great selection of essential oils and beautiful little jewelry pieces. This time I walked away with one roll-on perfume, one essential oil blend, a beautiful pair of delicate sterling silver earrings, and a big lunar moth ring.

Every time I’m in Port Jeff I won’t leave until I stop in this store. There’s so many beautiful little items throughout the store and it’s overall a pleasant experience even if you don’t buy anything (though it’s hard not to). I usually get jewelry and art prints from here but my friend got a crocodile skull and loves it

Great little shop and prices, but I agree with C Fergs review completely. First time in this shop and tried to have an interaction with an employee (I believe she worked there) and was completely ignored and I felt very awkward. Not the most welcoming store I've visited.Visited 9/24

I love this store and will still shop here, but everything I buy is silver plated, not silver. From earrings, to necklaces, to even the necklaces replacements. Nothing is solid solver. I hate copper. And it's advertised as sterling silver which is what I thought I bought. Hightly disappointed.

Won't be returning to Luna Nova. I loved that store so much but it's been brought to my attention that all the jewelry I've bought from this store seems to either be from Shein or bought from the same supplier. I've found every piece I've bought on Shein for a fraction of the price. Unless Shein is doing some sketchy business and stealing designs (again), I won't be purchasing from Luna Nova if they are in fact just selling the same jewelry you can buy in Shein

Love this store!! The selection was incredible and it was absolutely beautiful. The prices are very fair. It is a dream for a green and hearth witch. The woman working there was very kind and helpful!

This would've been a 5-star review if not for the fact that they were selling cat skulls. I realize that this store has many different animals/insects for sale, but it was still incredibly disturbing to see such a common household pet's remains on display in that manner. Why not sell dog parts too while you're at it?
