This place has really gone downhill. Spent nearly 3k on a green egg set up with them coming out of the pandemic in '21 and was told by Adam, the owner, that I'd have coupons to redeem/slash store credit. No mention was made of how they'd arrive or them expiring. Time passed before I had a chance to go back and he showed no interest at all in honoring what he'd told me and wasn't apologetic in the least. Got home and asked my Mom if she'd had any issues with me and she told me a story about a recent visit where she needed help identifying a lightbulb that needed replacing. She enlisted the of the sales woman, who asked her "What do I look like, a psychic?" Go to this store if you want to be belittled and treated poorly.

love the small town hardware town vibe. the type of place we go and can feel comfortable asking questions as first time home owners and we get real advice and step by step directions on home improvement projects.

This is a wonderful family business owned and staffed with caring people that know what they are selling and are truly interested in helping their customers solve problems. We bumped into the owners at the airport a few years ago and they offered to loan us some cash if we needed it because the only open place for food was not accepting credit cards. Side note we had cash so it was not an issue

True Value rewards and coupons make this an easier choice than the trip to HD or other home improvement chain. They are helpful, knowledgeable and also have seasonal stuff like camping chairs, Yeti cups, Carhart gear, grills, propane tanks, and great parking behind the store. The pain store attached to the hardware store is awesome and the guys there are very helpful.

Came in and asked for some help with which bolts to get. The first person downstairs listened to my question and referred me upstairs. The person upstairs helped me and knew what he was talking about, but seemed like he didn't want to be there, and getting his help felt like I was pulling teeth. Overall it's a good hardware store, but I think they need to train their people better in terms of customer service.

Aside from convenience and good selection nothing can compare to going to our local hardware store where you are offered personal service as soon as you walk through their door.
