“probably the BEST healthy hot food you could get yourself in this area, and the price is hard to beat. $13 for 3 pieces of seasoned baked bone-in chicken, kale salad, and baked ziti. everything is made fresh. the meat is juicy and not dry. definitely recommend the baked ziti & the meatballs! this is also vegetarian and vegan friendly, they have so many options. they post what they have on their instagram everyday.”

“I had an outstanding experience with Meat Maven in Roslyn. We needed to transport meat for over 20 hours by air and wanted it to remain frozen upon arrival. Yoel, the store manager, and Nate, one of the employees, went above and beyond to make this possible. They helped us choose the right cuts of meat, vacuum-sealed each package, deep-froze everything in their freezer for several days before pickup, carefully packed our cooler, and even sealed it with plastic wrap to maximize insulation. Thanks to their care and expertise, our meat arrived at our destination still rock solid and ready for the freezer. I am so grateful for their exceptional service, professionalism, and kindness. “Great assortment of meats and cheese. They also have a dry aged steak selection that's cut to your specifications, however, the butcher leaves at 5pm. I asked the deli department and they said that I could call it in and have the steaks cut and waiting for me before closing.”

“This past Fri., I went to get some staples for a Memorial Day bbq. Lots of choices of various cuts of meats as well as different kabobs. All of the food looked fresh, and delicious. The store was clean and empty at 11:30am so you were able to get a full view of all of their offerings. Grilled our items and they all were delicious. They were tender and seasoned perfectly. However, the guy that helped us looked beyond miserable. We had a small quick order so maybe a smile, thank you or an appreciation for our business would have been nice. 5 stars for the food, and a generous 3 for the customer service.”

“Really good quality produce, meats, and deli department. Some dairy and grocery items are priced toward the high end of the "competitive" range, but that's the price of convenience. The previous place left a void when it closed, so it's great to have an even better neighborhood supermarket fill that void.Unfortunately, there has been an increase in thefts recently and Marino's has had to create a new policy: no using your own bags to shop (use their baskets instead), and no "granny carts" at all. It's inconvenient, but we can't blame the store or its employees; they're simply reacting to a sad reality. Two thumbs down for the thieves who have made the new rule necessary.Meanwhile, we should keep supporting a local business that has served the community well.”
“You can buy authentic Italian bread and baguettes here. The vegetables and fruits are slightly more expensive than Huachao, but the quality is high. I'll go once a week or two. My favorite is to go to the pond in nearby Bowne Park and grab some bread to feed the wild ducks.”
