I don't want to give low stars because everyone has been kind and I've purchased two cars here HOWEVER , it is outrageously overpriced for services! do not go here for maintenance. They will over charge you by hundreds of dollars!! perhaps I should have been aware of this ahead of time, but I wasn't. don't make my mistake.

This is a bit of a tough one. My wife insists on taking our 2011 Toyota Sienna with around 190,000 miles on it here for everything, and I'll admit that the few times we've tried somewhere else it's ended in mixed results. TJ Toyota knows their stuff, and they charge accordingly. When you go in for routine maintenance, it's not unusual for them to come out with a list of "other issues." This most recent time I was there for an oil change, etc. If I had done everything on their list my oil change would have cost around $2,000. In fairness, they explained that most of the items were "milage based recommendations," and didn't use any hard sell tactics. Also worth noting, the waiting area is very clean and comfortable, even offering complimentary coffee, tea, and donuts. This is a good thing, because they are not fast. It's usually quite busy and they aren't a quick lube.

They have an upscale waiting room with tv, vending machines, coffee, donuts. Lot better than some others in town. Service is top notch.

THIS PLACE IS A RIP-OFF..I GUESS THAT'S WHAT YOU GET when there are no other options in the area...It costs $30 a viper blade which elsewhere costs less than 10 and I had to buy it because I couldn't pass inspection.. I had no problem with viper at all when driving and using it.. Also, I was previously offered $25 each before, so suddenly now 1 passenger side one is even more expensive.. Labor for oil change and tire rotation is $75 in addition to whatever the listed price is.. NEWS FLASH: ONLY COST IN TIRE ROTATION IS LABOR.. The total bill was over 160 and they told me I have so many things wrong like brakes etc that would cost over $500.. in a car that is driven below average miles and drives perfectly well..What was hilarious to me the most was that suddenly next service is now due after 5000 miles which, when it was free 2 Year service from TOYOTA; was due every 10,000 miles.. LOLDONE WITH THIS PLACE FOREVER...RUN AWAY IF YOU CAN.. UNFORTUNATELY SOME CAN'T SINCE IT'S THE ONLY DEARLERSHIP IN THE AREA.I AM DONE WITH THIS PLACE FOREVER..Service: General repairs & maintenance

Always GREAT !!! I totally forgot about my inspection being up this month I was there for my routine maintenance and they were able to inspect my vehicle and do the maintenance in under an hour !!!! Always top notch service at TJ Toyota all together, glad we have our hased our last 3 vehicles from them !!!

My husband went looking for a SUV and he had been all over for awhile. His spotted a Minivan he fell in love with! He came home and said to me I found what I want but I want to make sure you like it also. So I went and out came this salesman Shawn Williams he was such a gentleman! He showed us everything and gave us a excellent deal! So we bought a Toyota Sienna LTD Minivan and it’s absolutely gorgeous! We can’t thank Shawn enough how polite and caring he was to us! I went to Tjs on Friday for an inspection of my 2015 Highlander. They wouldn't pass the inspection unless I paid them $130 to have my brakes fixed. They said a caliper was rusting and it COULD cause my break pads to wear unevenly???? I said...no thank you and left. I got my car inspected today at a reputable dealership in Potsdam today that said there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. This is not the first time Tjs has tried to scam me, but it will be the absolutely last time I ever go there.

Made an appointment last week to get a key made because the girl at the front desk said it would be just $30 and she new it had a chip because that is the reason I had to make an appointment. Get to the appointment and she tells me the cost is $80, an additional cost for the chip! Next time be honest with your customers. This is the first and last time I will come here!!!! Thank god I buy my cars from Mortbackus! They are awesome

I'd like to sing the praises of Tom, an exceptional employee in the sales department! Tom has helped me through the process of leaving the dealership with my two most recent vehicles. Tom is efficient, attentive, and pleasant to work with. He took the time to explain every upgrades feature from my 2017 RAV4 to my new 2019 RAV4 this afternoon just before I left the lot. Service Department is awful and Customer Service is just as bad. Took my car to TJ Toyota to get fixed and paid them over $1,300 for them to fix my vehicle. TJ said the problem was the computer system even after the codes that came up said otherwise. Drove my car 20 miles and had the same problem I took it in for in the first place.
