Adams Fairacre Farms is a great supermarket and a very comfortable place to shop that attracts many people. It is a big store where you can walk around to different departments not found in regular supermarkets, including an excellent deli, meat, and dairy department, a bakery, a massive greenhouse, and a garden center with plants, trees, and landscaping services. They also offer decorative stone, a gourmet candy section, and seasonal items like Christmas trees. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is super fresh, with very extensive selections and plenty of healthy options, including speciality cheeses and delicious prepared foods. However, some note the produce, while looking great, can spoil quickly and is from mass producers, not small local farms. Prices are a bit higher than local markets, but many feel it is worth it for the quality. The store is always busy and can be a zoo, but lines move quickly. They offer a 10% discount on Wednesday nights. Some long-time shoppers have seen negative changes and believe there are improvements to be made, but it maintains a loyal following.
Excellent hot food and salad bar selections. Daily 6 hot soup varieties. Special mention of the bagels that are huge and chunky with just the right texture of chewiness, not too spongy or hard.

My mom took me to pick strawberries at Adams 60 yrs ago. They’ve expanded. A lot! A vast selection, delicious, fresh everything you ever wanted and many you have never seen before.
