Stayed at this establishment from January 13-15. I'm very disappointed that no one from management has had the decency to get back to me after leaving a serious complaint with the front desk on our departure. We had a suite for our stay and requested a room with a hot tub. The hot tub jets when turned was spitting black dirt and what appeared to have been mold. Absolutely disgusting. We were told by the front desk that management will be in touch with us. As to this posting no one has been in touch. Stay at your own risk. Not worth it. Plenty of other places in the area.

This place has changed hands over the years & its interior decor seems to ebb & flow between "under construction" and "pretty nice for a Best Western." I absolutely love the rooms that are creekside, worth the $10 or so extra bucks. You can hear the stream all night long, look out during the day to see trees, deer, birds, and of course the water. The breakfast itself is the usual weird chain hotel food (tiny plastic wrapped danishes, tiny yogurts, cereal etc) however the dining area is spacious and again, affords a nice view of the stream. I lived in the area when this hotel was built many decades ago, before it was a Best Western. It always felt very grand, it added some glamour to this suburban intersection. It was called "Inn at the Falls" because back then the stream cascaded over actual waterfalls. Not sure what happened to the falls, but now it's more of a quiet stream. The rooms are really expensive but seem sadly comparable to most other hotels in the area, plus most others are on Route 9 which is a lot less picturesque than Wappingers Creek. It's unfortunate that for $200-ish/night, the furniture & paint jobs & such in the rooms are on the janky side. Get it together, Best Western! Maintain this beautiful building. Pro tip: walk around the corner for some Carvel ice cream.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Where do I start, hallways stink. Plugs and smoke detector falling from wall. Bathroom sink didn't work. No washcloths (not that I would get in the shower). Bathroom tiles cracked and falling. Not even a working clock. I could go on but I think you get the picture.

Quick checking in. The room was dirty, and bathroom flooring was dirty. The walls seemed halfway painted.

I had wanted to stay here for years because of the location. Now I know why the reviews were so bad. We were here for one night. The fridge made a loud horrible noise intermittently. We found out in the middle of the night when it woke us up. Told the manager when we were checking out, and he basically said he'd look into it but to piss off as far as getting any sort of compensation. The scenery is nice but I won't be staying here ever again.

While I was excited to stay here, this stay left me in dismay. We booked three rooms spending over $1,500 for three days and were appalled by this visit. One room was beyond a health hazard and the management team did not do enough to rectify the situation in a timely manner. The guest staying in room 109 has severe health issues and was met with unimaginable cigarette stench to the point of nausea and vomiting. The guest was visibly sick and once throwing up in the bathroom, she found black mold in the ceiling. She was unable to stay in that room for the night and the hotel staff did nothing. Lucky she had a friend to stay with for that night. The hotel staff gave her a hard time the next day about changing her room and wanted to put her into the room next to that same room until she fought for another room. This kind of treatment is unacceptable since all three rooms were paid for equally and significantly different. The hotel staff did not want to make any adjustments to the price even though guest did not utilize the room for the night. This kind of treatment is exactly why we will not be returning.

Had a horrible experience trying to change a booking date. I waited on hold for 6 minutes with an agent who tried to help and then was put through to the general manager of the hotel. The manager was not at all helpful. He had no idea how to find my reservation and did not understand English clearly enough to be helpful. He was unfriendly and lacked any confidence I might have had when I initially booked the room. The prices are outrageous also!!

Not a great hotel. We stayed or two days and they gave two people one soap, two towels (one each) and one roll of tp. The floors of the bathroom where dusty in the corners and dirt was visible. The groute was also noticeably dirty in certain spots. Cleaning looked rushed and the bare minimum was done. Breakfast was also atrocious and I walked out as soon as I looked around.
