We had a family 3 day wedding at the next town over as many of the members stayed in various hotels. Our experience was awful. Our room had rodent droppings on the bureau and near microwave. We lifted the cushions on the couch only to find rodent fur and droppings. Most likely urine as well. The management was in pure denial and blamed on people come from all over and may BRING THINGS. Really???

I have been staying at a Marriott hotels for over 30 years. My last few stays have been very basic at the Courtyards. This brand used to be my ichoice for short stays while traveling. The furnishing are very un-inspired- their newer designs are more in current brand hotels have not reached the Courtyard brand. We had no microwave to warm up snacks, bathrooms had minimal counter area, and when I asked a housekeeper for more towels, she sent me to a room to get it myself. Also, the volume did not we w work our entire stay. We asked for help, but the engineer could not fix it.
We stay at .Marriott when traveling because of their no animals policy.
All the othe hotels are getting very lax about pets, but when you have someone allergic to animals- the policy means a lot.
The bed was comfortable and we had a nice choice of pillows.

The hotel was clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and well-equipped, and the location was convenient. A relaxing and pleasant stay overall.

Stayed here for one night since it was close to a private event that I attended. When checking in, the staff asked if I wanted a higher or lower floor and I chose the higher floor. But she said I had to wait for a room so I just opted for a lower floor. Btw, this hotel only has two floors and has multiple entrances except entrance B was not usable. Zero views and just looks out at the parking lot but does have a small balcony. While walking to my room, there was a cigarette smell coming from a room nearby and can smell it in the hallway. And once I entered my room, the cleaning person left their cleaning spray. Makes me wonder if this room was even cleaned. The bed was made though and new towels were hung. However, when I pulled the blanket off, I noticed stains on the bedsheet (as pictured). It was too late in the night to ask for a new one so had to sleep on the other side which defeats the purpose of sleeping on a king bed. The fan in the room is also very loud and the couch has multiple stains on it. Not the Courtyard quality that I expected, tbh, as a Marriott person (esp when a night cost $191). I’d probably not stay at this location again.

Usually stay here when on Business in Poughkeepsie. Rooms are a bit dark, but it is clean and nice. Friendly staff, good location in South Street in Poughkeepsie which is close to IBM.

I’m a titanium member, so I spend a lot of time in Marriott hotels. my reservation was for two nights, but the fan in my room was so loud and annoying that I could hardly sleep and the Internet was terribl. So I try to check out a day early and they told me that they were going to charge me for the second day anyway even though I was checking out before checkout time. The care service representative told me it was because they wouldn’t be able to sell the room. Which is nonsense, you’re telling me that you can’t sell the rooms of anybody that checks out on time? They could easily resell the room once cleaned. This is my second time having an issue with this hotel. If you can go to the residence inn down the street.

Since becoming an adult, I have stayed at a Marriott Hotel a handful of times. Every time I stay at one, I receive the BEST customer service ever! If I were to list every wonderful experience, and every excellent interaction I had with a staff member, I would soon run out of characters. The room I was given was super clean, super roomy and with a super comfy bed. I honestly cannot think of any issue or problem I had, and if I did, I do not remember.

Call the front desk multiple times to check for availability and the person keep disconnecting the line! This is so unprofessional 😒

Stayed here for 2 nights place was clean and I’m like Felix Unger so I was pleased. Bed was comfortable and water pressure in shower was best I have had and plenty of hot water. was a small fridge in room to keep some snacks and drinks in. There was a lil spot in corner near desk to buy some snacks but prices were outrageous better off going to stop and shop down the road if you want to have late snack or if you have kids. There is a small bar in lobby where you can get a beer and some wings. Hotel puts out free coffee near desk in morning, there is a Starbucks in lobby with small breakfast menu. I thought there was a free breakfast but we like to sleep late and hit road all day so we would have missed any breakfast at hotel free or not. Overall place was very good for price and location.

I came here and stayed for a work trip. I was not aware that you had to request to the front desk to have your room clean and have clean towels. So I requested that for three days in a row and it never happened. Needless to say, my co-worker and I had an awful experience and we will never set foot in this place again. Awful and if I could give this a rating lower than I did, I would.

This is a much better hotel than I expected. It feels like a motel at first glance and when you look at booking, but it's definitely a hotel. The staff is very friendly and kind, explains everything, and tells you where best to park for your room. It has a half-Starbucks inside it, and some games and seating areas that are private. The rooms were a little worn and needed simple repairs (slightly bubbled paint, or an outlet cover broken) but otherwise it was well worth the money. If you want something quiet just ask them to put you wherever it's most quiet. Overall it was a great experience.
