Albert Lu took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and provided thorough explanations for the medications I needed. His knowledge and expertise were evident as he addressed all my questions with clarity and professionalism.
It's rare to find such a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist manager, and I am grateful for the positive experience.

Rude, inconsiderate pharmacy staff. Don't use the drive thru. You might get the window shut in your face after waiting in line. There is no signage or warnings about breaks.

I arrived at CVS a hot mess from grieving my mother’s burial on 2/16 after my medical appointment. Dequon greeted me which gave me pause. I’m unsure if he realized that I had been crying, but he was so helpful and kind and courteous which comforted me. I dropped my phone and returned to find it. Dequon was several aisles away, but he promptly returned to see if I needed anything. I appreciate his presence and having such exceptional help. If only he knew what a difference he made. CVS and the world need more people like Dequon.

I’ve had to pick up three prescriptions this month and each time waited in line for over a 45 minutes. There were 19 people in front of me today.

I can’t get anyone on the phone and the automated system doesn’t answer all questions. Every single time I need to call, it’s the same story … way too much time waiting and, in the end, I don’t get a human to respond.

This is honestly the worst drugstore I've ever dealt with and I feel so bad saying that because the staff is so nice. I feel horrible for them because they are working hard and hustling, they are just horribly understaffed. I've switched all my new prescriptions to Walgreens as a result of the horrible service. Do not go here and please CVS, give your staff more support.

Leaving this review in the hopes that this CVS hires more pharmacy employees. All of the staff are very helpful when I can reach them, but it has become impossible to get my prescriptions here. The drive through window has been closed, the wait times have been terrible at multiple times of the day, I'm left on hold forever when I try to call. I can't get my medication and need to change pharmacies. Please hire enough people to actually function!

I have never had such poor customer service in any retail store before. They never allow a customer to speak with a pharmacist, and I have actually called CVS for a question I had, and the phone rang for 45 minuts. No one picked up! They often don't have medications in stock. I've been told to pick up meds at a specific time and waited for over half an hour! If my insurance covered Price Chopper Pharmacy, I'd use them. They are great!

Second time in line of 30 people. Web site says ready, not. Staff unhappy says they are understaffed! God if you are getting any important scripts stay away!!!!!!!

This pharmacy is the worst. Takes up to five days to fill a prescription even for an new script for an antibiotic (which the Dr. wants you to take immediately). I was waiting for the pharmacy to open (the gate was still down even though it was past opening time) and the pharmacy staff was swearing and dropping "f" bombs which could be clearly heard by waiting customers. A young woman who was answering the phone spent most of her time immitating a character from a movie with other staff and laughing while at he same time checking info on the computer. Even though there are lines of customers waiting for prescriptions to be filled, the staff is joking around and discussing non-business issues loudly enough for custtomers to hear. Who manages this pharmacy??????TT

If I could give 0 stars or even negative stars they'd get it. To be in a better place compared to other pharmacies this place is just objectively piss poor. The drive thru pharmacy folks seem to think they can police customers who are smoking in THEIR OWN cars BUT don't ask them to actually do their jobs because they move at the approximate speed of " I don't give a ___". I've seen their cashiers up front care more about trying to stop petty thieves than the customer experience. Newsflash to those cashiers, you aren't loss prevention & if that's what you want to do then by all means hang up the cashier jersey & apply for an LP position. Last time I came here apparently the pharmacy tech or whatever the title was either didn't put in for a refill like he said he would or their system failed to complete his request because my refill wasn't taken care of, shocking. I don't know who the manager of this store is or even the regional manager of the local stores are but they should absolutely be embarrassed by the people they employ and their inability to do their job functions properly. I'm not even asking for above and beyond service because I get it, hardly anyone grows up wishing to work at CVS but come the F on, take a pinch of pride in your work, yourself & your company. If you're unhappy seek another job but don't take it out in the people keeping the place open, the CUSTOMERS! Last but not least it's not out of the norm to spend 40-60 minutes waiting on medication refills or anything involving the pharmacy. If you've got staffing issues that's a company issue & again a reason to be embarrassed & maybe strive to do better. It seems they give people longer than anticipated wait times so that folks don't wait for their meds. Their MEDICINES, you know the stuff people need to survive in this year our lord 2023! This will hopefully be my final time having to put up with this place & the ineptitude. I'm sure I just wasted my time and some clown who makes money to be mediocre will read this and think " oh just another Karen/Ken" but if you don't believe me, go here for yourself & just do me a favor and leave some feedback I don't care if it's positive if you had a positive experience.

They are constantly behind in filling prescriptions and don’t communicate with you. One of my medications was out of stock/backordered and instead of letting me know they made me wait over a half hour for it. Drug shortages are not their fault, but they should communicate with their customers. One woman who works at the pharmacy counter (not the pharmacist but must have been one of the techs) was very snippy with me when I asked her why my prescription was on hold. She also yelled at my mom on a separate occasion for no reason. Incredibly rude and just bad service. My experience with both CVS locations in Poughkeepsie has been so bad that I will never use them for my meds again if I can help it… their prices are higher than other chains too so there’s really no reason to get your meds here.

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars. I've been coming here for the past 5 years and my experience was okay until 2 years ago. Any time I call to refill a script or even a new script or try to get ahead since I can't be waiting for hours at the store for prescriptions with 2 little kids, all I have ever gotten is a huge attitude or nastiness. I'm understanding to everyone having a bad day but this has happened consistently and I don't appreciate being spoken rudely nor lied to. A direct answer to a question would be appreciated. I would recommend trying out a different pharmacy where workers aren't so miserable. This is coming from someone who is in the field.

CVS has gone downhill..I'm an R N was waiting for a prescription and the lady in front of me begging for her meds for an upcoming trip and was denied them early, my prescription for pyridium, which is a med that has been around forever, was told that it's not covered by insurance which is incorrect, I had to pay out of pocket..staff extremely unprofessional couldn't believe I was in a pharmacy, step up that customer service, I'm former CVS employee and shocking to see because they always were all about their customer service first and foremost..maybe we need the old mom and pop shops back where people actually cared for you..Feel bad for the elderly yikes!! Step it up CVS
