Five Below in the Poughkeepsie Galleria is an okay shopping stop if you’re looking for quick, inexpensive items, but it definitely has room for improvement. The store has a good variety of products — from toys and snacks to seasonal items, phone accessories, and small home goods — and the prices are always affordable. It’s a convenient place to grab a few things without spending much.
However, the store can feel a bit disorganized at times. Some aisles are messy or overstocked, which makes it harder to find what you’re looking for. Depending on when you go, the shelves may look picked over, especially during weekends or holidays. The checkout lines can also get long, and sometimes there aren’t enough employees available on the floor to help when you need assistance.
On the positive side, the items you do find can be great deals, and kids especially love coming here because there’s always something colorful and fun. If the store was kept a little more tidy and staffed a bit better, it would easily be a 4- or 5-star stop.
Overall, it’s a decent store for quick grabs and bargains, but not always the easiest shopping experience. Solid 3 stars.

It was pretty much as good as any other Five Below location. I always come here to check out the little figures and Sanrio merch, as well as the bath products!

NO STORE BAGS how can a store like this have no bags, had to buy two gift bags to carry my stuff home which broke immediately.verry poor experience

The store itself was fine, however when we got to the check out we missed a sign but went to a self check out kiosk where there were 3 other customers checking out without the assistance of an employee. The woman that was working rudely came over to only my friend and I and said that we were not allowed to check out on our own that she had to do it. She proceeded to check me and my friend out while not stopping 2 other people that went up to self check out on their own.
My friend and I felt targeted as there was one main difference between my friend and I and everyone else that was left to check out on their own. I do not think I will be returning to this store.

James is wonderful. My fiancé and I came in today to look for some stuffed animals to keep on our volunteer ambulances and firetrucks for children in our community, to help them through trying and sometimes traumatic times. We thank you James for taking the time to help us.

Ugh I'll never step foot in there again. I don't like the way they rearranged the store and I didn't find a single thing I could justify spending money on. This place has gone downhill.
