Keep up with your money, they are stealing from accounts and making up reasons that make no sense to justify it. I would not recommend.

Back in 2019 , I had to file for bankruptcy, since then I've portrayed good standings with other banks and credit cards. I really wanted to become a member again at HVFCU but the guy I spoke to (which might I add was extremely rude and not sympathetic) stated I have to pay the balance off that happened 5 years ago that the bankruptcy took care off in order for me to return as a member. In his words" scotch free" This bank is not worth my time. I don't recommend this bank for anyone that went through a hard time and now on their feet wanting a Credit Union Bank.

My truck was totaled two months ago. The bank will not send the pay off letter to my insurance company so the loan can be paid when I & the insurance company reached out many times for six weeks now. Meanwhile I’m still stuck paying for a truck I no longer own. They also set up my auto pay to deduct exactly eleven days late so I was charged a late fee every month for two years. Shame on me for not catching that. I would give negative stars if I could. Worst bank I have ever had by far.

It is unbelievable how Tammi Marino Underwriter, Consumer Loan Underwriting is. She was nasty and rude to me when I was in the process of securing a loan for a vehicle. It is terrible how people representing company goes out of their way to be rude to you for no reason at all other than they just want to be disrespectful and nasty to people. When I called corporate to register a complaint a local brank manager pretended he couldn't find her supervisor's name and contact info for me to report her unprofessional behavior. I called corporate back and still filed a complaint. It doesn't surprise me of the low star reviews this credit union has.

HVFCU is horrible & I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who values their money. I was a loyal member for 20-years, but they've gone down, down, downhill in recent years w/rude & incompetent employees, branch managers & leadership. Stay away!!!

One thing HVCU should be up front about is the fact that all employees are required to submit to mandatory Covid-19 vaccination. I was about to move forward in the hiring process as a call center agent but could not do so without a vaccination. The position I was going to fill was fully remote. I am a breast-feeding mother who plans to have more children. Not enough time has passed for there to be supported data on how the vaccine will effect myself or my children. How is it fair to force a person to receive a vaccine that reduces in effectiveness and efficacy with each passing day while the virus continues to change?? If vaccinated you can still get Covid-19, AND pass it to others. But for a remote position especially? This verdict is quite unfair. I am truly disappointed.

As mediocre as I predicted. I can't recall how many times I've written the following: (1) Daily ops performed by post-teens who have barely exited their teen years; (2) Untrained trainers who couldn't train a dog not to p*** on the bed. Welcome to financial management by youtube.

I had such a great experience at this branch. I needed to have a few documents notarized and was able to make an appointment online. It was super simple. Once I arrived at the branch, the traffic was being regulated to ensure a safe environment. There weren't a ton of people just walking in and out. You also were required to wear a mask. Here's the best part. When I went in for my appointment, I was immediately taken to a notary and I was in and out within 5 mins. UNHEARD OF! I hate going to get documents notarized at other locations because I usually have to sit and wait for a while. Once I was even told there was no notary available after waiting for a while. So frustrating. This experience was amazing and zero stress. I'll be coming here for now on.

What's the expression... "If it ain't broke don't fix it!" This latest "upgrade" for your Internet banking services/website is horrendous from both a user and technical perspective. (Looks pretty though...) The penultimate version for BILLPAY worked very well with a glitch here and there which is to be expected but THIS thing is virtually useless! Technically speaking as a software engineer it doesn't support the basics of CRUD, create/read/update/delete in terms of ease of use! The "U" part of CRUD is not complete. Once you have set up a recurring payment the only thing they allow you to change is the amount. If I have to move the date up or back you have to delete the whole "9 yards" and history of the payment basically starting/rekeying the entire payment series of events from the beginning for a particular payment and payee. YUCK! Talk about keystrokes!!! The previous version of BILL PAY, before this latest upgrade, worked beautifully. It was fluid. You could make changes randomly and there were no issues. Now when you set up a schedule of payments it is cast in concrete and the only way to make a change to it is to rip it out by the roots! I feel this upgrade/product was not ready... Why release a product if it's not ready? This upgrade/product clearly was not ready for release.I feel sorry for the poor support people... All they can do is agree that it doesn't work correctly and apologize. What was the rush? It is common knowledge in any software development house that a software product or a version of that product does not get released to the client until the users or the clients have determined that the upgrade works as per documented specifications and requirements or as otherwise agreed upon In the signed off contract. Then and only then does the product get released for public consumption. Simple, right? What happened?! (I know what happened......) Yes dates are important and should be met but not at the expense of releasing a piece of "***". Here is another old and seasoned Piece of wisdom, "get it right the first time! " Save yourself the headaches!!! My over 40 years in the industry tells me that this was a "rush job". God love you come your next review.... Oh, Lest I forget... Another problem is the transfer information For a "external transfers" or "across members" was lost during the transition/upgrade.. I'm racking my brain to think of the many ways they could have propagated/perpetuated that information across the upgrade. Not rocket science... Just computer science.
