I stayed here for two weeks. The room was OK and the front desk staff were very nice and helpful except for one woman who was outright unfriendly. I was surprised that on my second day when I complained that my room was not cleaned. I was told that I had to request that at the reception desk. So I asked them to clean the room every day. During the two weeks the room was cleaned twice and the bed sheets were changed once. Absolutely horrible housekeeping and I am not really fussy !! The free breakfast was minimal but OK. Coffee is available all day. Other than candy and soda at the front desk. there is nothing available during the day or evening. the pool is nice but I only used it once . There is nothing within walking distance except for an Indian restaurant which I didn't try.

My husband and I just stayed here for a 3 day getaway from NYC. Absolutely loved it. Place was immaculate and Samantha at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Pool was spotless along with the beautiful fitness center. We walked the walkway over the Hudson and had dinner both nights at Shadows which is one of my favorite restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Very disappointed with my stay here. No complaints about the room. I prepaid for my trip in December through American Express for a three night stay in January. On checkout, I was charged on my card for the stay, FOR A SECOND TIME. I filed a dispute through American Express. Am/Ex has contacted the management repeatedly via phone and email, to no avail or resolution. I have tried repeatedly to call myself but cannot even get an answer at the front desk. Will not stay at Hyatt again due to their poor communication and no real desire to resolve my issue.

So disappointed in the management. Hotel lost power and It did not come on until after dark. I went to the desk early on to talk to Amanda to see if we could get transferred to another Hyatt location, but there was not one in the direction we needed to be the next morning. I asked if we could be compensated for the inconvenience and, without hesitation, Amanda told us that we would be refunded in full for our stay. Given that there was a dog barking from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM The next morning, we felt all the better that we were being refunded. As we were checking out the next morning, I went to the front desk to ensure that we were not billed, and there was no one there. There was a sign that said someone would be right back, but we waited five minutes and no one came. We were indeed billed ($196). Despite messages left at the location to speak with the manager, no one called back. I contacted corporate who spoke with the assistant manager, Jason, who said there would not be a refund because it was an act of God. There was no apology whatsoever for the fact that one of their staff members had promised us a refund. They would not even offer a voucher for future Hyatt stay. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Be very careful with the chargers to your card. my card was charge for a night that I didn’t stay in. the receptionist told me wend the manager comes in we will refund you card. a week has pass and the manager don’t answer my calls or emails. very unprofessional from the manager .

I just want to thank the staff here so much, Samantha, Alyssa, Tom, and the other two ladies that work at night. All of them have been so kind and hospitable but Samantha and Alyssa both were there for me emotionally when they didn’t have to be. I’m going through a rough patch right now, and they listened and heard my pain and encourage and inspired me to be better and rebound quickly. Sometimes God puts the right people in your life no matter how brief, I thank them for being there when I had nobody else to turn to in this town.Beyond that, beautiful lounge and lobby, pool is kinda small, no hot tub unfortunately but the shower is nice, beds are great, nice room layout. I hope to come back!

Whos cares abt location if its conveiant its convienant. Staff is not only miserable in pe4son but by phone. Its more then there $ 100yincidental taking 2 weeks ut theyll ask for 200. Cant give cash. Policy is policy but dnt ait and say 3. Days. 5 call there main line n get 7 days. Not a great first experience this holiday. Suggest go elsewhere theres crooks !!

This is a Miss Fischetti Robinson. This is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at I still have yet to explore. Even the Hyatt Place in Fishkill fantastic staff both of these hotels are amazing and the breakfasts are unbelievable and their compassion is on high voltage at all times for anyone that walks to the store. I noticed that a lot of times, and sometimes people could be so very mean, but the staff I’ve noticed always kept their cool, and had a problem resolved in a minute, and I am not lying on Bible.God bless everyone stay safe merry ChristmasRooms: Exceptionally cleanNOT one piece of hair in the tub, sink nothing on the floorNearby activities: There’s a lot of things to do .. My family and I checked in 11/25 and our room was already paid for but they took another $304 out of my account plus the $100 incidental fee. The girl was training so I felt bad but the other lady there did not wanna help her. Their customer service there sucks. Not once has anyone reached back out to me, they didn’t try to accommodate me and my family even tho $400 on top of the $300 I already spent on the room is a lot. I’ve reached out to management he never got back to me. The rooms are beautiful but the customer service was horrible.

The hotel is right on a major street and so if you don’t want to hear trucks and motorcycles all night, you need to blast the air (which blows right on you).Beds were ok, but their pillows were ridiculously small and hard. I call them “prison pillows” because I imagine that’s what they would give you to sleep on if in prison. And what’s worse - when we requested extra pillows and towels, they didn’t have any. No extra pillows in the entire hotel. Seriously. Same with towels if you ask at the wrong time of day. When you ask questions, the staff mostly looks at you like they don’t understand what you are saying.And - we paid extra for a king suite, which is almost the exact same room as a regular king. Would not stay here again.

Average hotel and expensive! Rooms were clean and spacious though! Poor flooring with no wall to wall carpeting! Comes with complimentary breakfast! Downside is poor and not that courteous service! Front desk people need more training in handling the customers and their internal systems. Lack of expertise was showing in clumsy handling! Follow up:If you need to get sleep and are on the 2nd or 3rd floor, you'll have to go down and ask the night guy to turn off the music. I guess they play it to keep away animals or something, but it's either too loud or the bass is too loud, so I had a hard time staying asleep.I wasn't able to reach anyone by phone (nor the following day - the weekend manager said he'd look into that) but the night guy cut the music off right away when I finally gave up and threw on some clothes/shoes to go down and get it fixed.It was too late then to get enough sleep to be up early to get any work done, so the lovely office area was wasted.That said, the staff were all good, though I think they should have comped the room instead of just offering $50.From original review:Samantha, Brittany and Jason have been very helpful and patient in helping us check in quickly and also on suggesting some places we can get some food which fits our requirements.Oh yeah, I need to use my computer and the rooms we have are very well laid out for my basic office needs.I'll recommend this location and also drop by on my next trip through these ways.Well done Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie!
