Lowe's for all of your home improvement needs. Stop by the local Poughkeepsie, NY Lowe’s to pick up gardening supplies, check out new appliances and paint colors or try out new patio furniture. The store has certainly improved in terms of organization from years ago. Staff are very friendly and provide some of the best customer service ever, at the very highest level, often going above and beyond to assist. Associates will track down items and help customers get everything needed for a project. However, be prepared to be approached by various and numerous sales reps for services like solar and HVAC, as there is a sheer amount of solicitation. While some customers prefer other home improvement stores, this location offers a pleasant experience with friendly and helpful service from the staff.

Went there today to pick up a sale item. It wasn't on the shelf but the associate working in the tool department tracked it down and got it for me. All the staff was very friendly.

Exactly what you'd expect out of Lowe's. No complaints EXCEPT the sheer amount of solicitation happening recently, if you need to go in. We were in there less than 30min, and we were asked about solar and HVAC three times. Be prepared to be approached by various and numerous sales reps.
