I am somewhat surprised at the positive reviews this place has received. The TLDR version of my experience is don't buy a car from this dealership if you plan to register the car is Massachusetts, although we have other issues with the quality of service as well. Because of shortages, we purchased the car at their dealership rather than one closer to home.First the positive - the salesman was a nice guy and seemed knowledgeable about the car we purchased. The sales manager took a few steps and promised us a few extras to compensate us for the difficulties in actually purchasing the car, but whether he actually implemented them remains to be seen.Now for the not so good- we told the sales person we wanted to register the car in Mass. We were told it might be difficult but we not told about the time it would take or what the delays would be. The phrase "managing expectations" is a cliché, but doing this can be important. In addition, a colleague of told his wife had purchased in New York for registration in Mass and the dealers just had runners that took care of the issue.In addition, the salesperson did not (a) cc my wife in responding to emails, including at least once when I specifically asked him to do; (b) when asked to provide me with the exact name of the dealership and the type of check required for the down payment, only provided me with the name of the dealership on the first try; (c) provided the finance office with wrong loan amount, which led to a delay in the closing process; and (d) provided the finance office with wrong VIN number of the car being purchased, which also led lead to a delay in the closing process. We did a lot of correspondence by phone, email or text, and he occasionally seemed confused as to whether he was contacting me or my wife. Because of the delays in the process, the dealership told us they would send out some by overnight express, but waited a day or two to send them out. Telling someone you plan to send something by overnight express to expedite things implies you will do that same day, and waiting a day or destroys the point of using an overnight service. In addition, the person in the finance office tried to sell us an extended warranty and told us the state of New York required them to offer us this warranty. I have no idea whether this is true, but if would be a deceptive statement if not (in all fairness, the person in the finance office may have been trained to say this, so might not have known if the statement was indeed false).

this place will continue to send you SPAM emails that you did NOT sign up for. this place sucks because they say they will remove you from that spam but refuse to do so.If they LIE about removing you from their spam list, they will lie about selling you a good car. Be careful of giving this place your email and you will more than likely NEVER get off their SPAM list!!

Efficient and professional, Day 1 - emailed a request on a new car, got all our information and costs from Destany. Day 2 button down details and model of car with help from Destany and Dylan. Day 3 inspected new car with Dylan and filled out paperwork with Lauren. Super easy thanks to the great team at Route 9 Mazda. Highly Recommend.

usually rank the customer service here as Fantastic, not this time - went to buy out my lease Madza CX30 and the office/sales lady I felt was a big disappointment ,not friendly could care less attitude ,upset when we didn't do the extended warranty, didn't mention the Gap although we stopped her on that one and said we wanted it . Just a bad experience for something that should have been an exciting happy experience ,not even sure that she congratulated us in the end .

2 for 2! I purchased my first brand new Mazda CX-5 from Route 9 Mazda in 2014 and I went right back there when it was finally time for me to buy a new car yesterday! This time I bought a CX-30! Randy was a complete and total joy to work with! He took the time to listen to what I needed in a vehicle and in the end, I purchased the perfect one! I was a little nervous about having to go into a dealership to buy a new car as I hadn't done so in almost a decade, but Randy put my mind at ease and made the process as painless and enjoyable as possible. He is such a very sweet and kind man who cares about his customers! He is extremely thorough and makes sure that you are satisfied with your decision before you walk out the door. The finance manager was incredible too! He gave me a great rate and was very detailed when explaining my purchase options. I highly recommend Route 9 Mazda to anyone in the market! They are amazing!

I bought a car from them today. it was the 4th place I tried. the first 3 proved to be unacceptable. i found them to be professional, knowledgeable and good sales people. I spent a little more than I originally wanted to but Im sure I'll be happy with the vehicle for years. I couldn't be happier with it so far. bravo to Tom and the rest of the team. I made my choice to buy the car, and everything was done and I was driving away in a registered, immaculately clean car, with a full tank of gas a couple of hours later. a had to drive my wife back later that evening to pick up our old car.

I just bought my second car here (the first was at Poughkeepsie Nissan) and, may I say, I am totally impressed with the outcome. My sales representative was communicative, professional, and helpful as was his manager and the rest of the team at Route 9 Mazda. I will now be driving one of the safest cars in America, a Mazda CX3 (Thanks to Dylan Cottman) when I was looking for a Chevy. I recommend him as a salesperson any day. Thank you Poughkeepsie Mazda!!

Where the sales department is alright, the service department excels. I recently had to take my car to get a tire warranty claim serviced at Rt 9 Mazda. I first called a bunch of local tire shops thinking they would be cheaper than going to the dealer, I was actually wrong. Not only did Rt 9 Mazda beat local pricing they were able to help me the day of my blowout. Getting me back on the road within a day. The woman who helped us (a blonde, I wish I got her name) was so helpful and nice I would be happy to come back again for service. I am NOT a fan of dealerships, I find them to be over priced and shady, so far my experience at Rt 9 Mazda has been very positive. Keep up the good work!

My wife took her 2019 CX 5 in for an oil change, rotation and service this past Saturday. Sunday morning, I moved the car for her and noticed a small puddle on the floor. checked it and sure enough, it was oil. Jacked up her car and the plug was barely finger tight. Lucky that I noticed it before she left for an hour each way round trip. It could have worked it's way totally out
