I bought a phone on Feb 26 2025. Phone freezes and drops calls. Called Metro Pcs 611 first. Then called store when I was informed my phone actually cost 159.99. Manager charged 427.00 for a 159.99 phone. Contacted metro pcs 611. Manager of store refused to give a break down of charges claimed computer was down and could not provide the break down. Metro pcs 611 said that's weird they don't have any information on the sale. Manager used racial slurs and threatened to call the police. I asked him to do so. Watched him over charge 2 other customers. I had to file consumer fraud complaints and had to request an investigation. Also found out my complaint is not the first 1. Seems to have a problem with immigrants and women even though I'm not an immigrant. Manager Can not provide proof of charges and refused to refund my money.

Metro pcs is a total scam owned by thieves. My Cell Phone was broken in new York while I was on vacations (I am from miami) and went to a metro pcs because I have been paying ensurance for almost 3 years with them, so that if an accident like this happens they would fix the problem. When I went to the first metro store the guy told me that I should put the claim on the broken phone (I would receive a new phone for $275 of deductible at my home in miami). I needed a phone urgently so I could fly back to miami, so I bought a new “cheap” phone for 120 and called metro pcs costumer service to activate the SIM card in the new phone.Then went to another metro pcs and the guy asked me another 75 for activation fee. This is a thieves company.

this guy is very shady try to change my son $150 to reactivate phone and new number which my son didn't have so he change him $80 and said to come back in 2 weeks with the other $70 will not be paying that call customer service to make a complaint

Owner is a slime bag always trying to get you to buy overpriced items from his store honestly I wish there was another MetroPCS store because I would never go there again every time me and my wife went there he's always trying to charge us more money than it's actually worth and then we call him on it this is the problem living in a small little town like Poughkeepsie you got only one store and then this guy thinks he can run a game on you if you want to save money and get good customer service I suggest you buy your MetroPCS phone and do all your MetroPCS shopping not at this store buy your phones online like I've been doing because of this guy

These are thieves. I bought a sim card for no more than $50, and they took more than $130 from me. Until now, they have not returned the money to me. Fortunately, I have evidence of that, and I will devote it to them when I have time.
