My account got closed for a very silly excuse the same day. This happened the same day I notified the bank that I was traveling abroad! The worst bank ever!!!

I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mrs. Busaba and Mr. Pacheco for the hard work and dedication demonstrated to assist me above and beyond with my most recent branch visit. Melissa that runs the Mortgage department has the worst customer service. She gave me answers to a bunch of questions that I didn’t ask. Also she told me to go shopping for a home without a pre approval. Nowadays you CAN NOT go view homes without a preapproval letter so realtors and sellers no you’re serious. She also told me to go online and google government mortgage programs for myself. All I wanted to know was what could M&T offer me as a lender and after spending almost 10min on the phone with her I still don’t know. I don’t care if M&T offered a 0% interest rate for a home loan I don’t want it and I don’t want to deal with her again. I felt as if she was rushing me off the phone and didn’t want me to apply. Weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. Maybe it’s because I have a ethnic name. If she would’ve actually checked my status she would see how much money my son and I have sitting in there bank. ? Their loss.

Horrible customer service, no help at all, with the issue .. Every other branch I've been to, I had no issues with compared to this one!
