I ordered food and the supervisor seems to be misleading customers to knowing when their food will be done she says to call 2 hours ahead of time but why tell me my order won’t be ready until 3 hours later then I get there at the time I was told and then the employee starts to make the food because the supervisor tells them when to make it. I was already a little patient with the 3 hour wait time but then that supervisor wants me to wait more because she wouldn’t allow her employee to start the order until the time it was supposed to be done.

Please STOP having your customers harrass me in the parking lot walking out of the store with paid groceries white car pulling up in front of my car in the parking lot very tall white male wearing a ny yankees hat gets out of the car walks right in front of me enough people you're all sick and leave me alone in the parking lot and stop pulling in front of my car when im walking to it nothing but aggravated harassment enough ty!!! Leave me alone in the parking lot its all on cameras!!! No more feel very unsafe there and in the parking lot when I am a paid customer!!!

They have horrible customer service! I was shopping and they had no carts inside to grab and I asked if they had any carts inside the employee saw that my hands full of items and they didnt even have the curiosity to grab a cart for me. I had to put all my items down and go outside and grab a cart.

The prices are chill, but the energy at the registers? Straight outta Worldstar. You’ve got cashiers beefing like it’s a reality show, yelling over each other while customers and little kids are standing in line just tryna get groceries. I came for a sale, not a smackdown. Price Chopper, y’all winning on prices, but losing on class. Fix that front line, it’s giving ratchet deli drama.

The Price Chopper in Poughkeepsie is absolutely disgusting and filthy, by far one of the dirtiest, sketchiest, and poorly run stores around. This location has gone WAY downhill over the years and is obviously not doing well at all. When I was here a few months ago, the entrance door was broken and half opened with caution and cones tape around it, yet there was no sign or notice alerting customers. Once inside the store, the entire front end smelled like stale cigarettes, mold, and weed. The deli and prepared foods areas looked very dirty. The floors behind the deli counter were dirty and needed to be swept and mopped. That whole section had very little to product choose from with lots of open floor space. What few prepared food items they had, didn’t look very fresh or appealing. It appears they’ve cut back that dept significantly, likely from poor sales. The cafe area looked dark and dingy. I found moldy strawberries, and rotten grapes on the shelves in the produce dept. In the meat dept, several meats were expiring the same day and a few others had turned brown. The store itself was incredibly poorly maintained. The floor was filthy in several areas. In the water aisle, there was dirt smeared on the floor. Many of the shelves were filthy and disgusting. A few shelves were damaged and rusty. The shelving in the chip aisle was filthy, and the shelving in the water/soda section was damaged. Many of the freezers were badly leaking with puddles of water on the floor and wads of soaked, filthy paper towels and absorbent pads lining the freezers. The dairy shelves were filthy with spilled juices and mold in several sections. Lastly, the small amount of staff in the store seemed depressed and unhappy. Customer service was subpar. It also didn’t feel very safe at night as the parking lot was poorly lit. The parking lot also had several large potholes and litter scattered about. I noticed there were almost no customers and only a small handful of associates throughout the store. No one was shopping here, the place was like a ghost town. I can’t imagine this location will still be open 5 years from now. Whenever I’ve driven by, I notice the parking lot is usually empty. Judging by the awful condition of the store, lack of management, lack of staff, and how so few customers are shopping here, it’s obvious this store is not doing well at all. It’s unfortunate, but there are MANY better options. Go to Adams, Shoprite by Marist or any other store. This is the worst supermarket in Poughkeepsie.

Bathroom is always disgusting and doesn't ever look like it's gets deep cleaned everything is stained and smells awful and all they do here is laugh sit and hang out. A Health inspector needs to come here, I wouldn't buy food from here.

The store manager treats workers and customers terribly. The sweet elderly woman in the bakery was fired for no reason. I regret ever spending money at this establishment. I went in last week and the entire seafood department was gone and i come to find out their all suspended for what, I don't know. The manager clearly doesn't respect anybody, getting rid of half the staff for no apparent reason. Action need to be taken IMMEDIATELY!!!

Supermarket sushi came through for me with an interesting flavor experience. Latin fusion "Arroz Picante" was mildly spicy, enhanced by lemon juice & cream cheese. Side note: I hadn't been here in a long time because Price Chopper turned itself into a fish fry for a few years, but now the odor of frying seafood is gone.

The guy with the low haircut behind the seafood counter is so damn rude and nasty! He always has an attitude and rolls his eyes when you try and place an order. If he doesn’t like his job he should just quit!
