Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Rex. Knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and no pressure tactics. We looked at several Mazda dealerships and Route 9 is the farthest away, but their pricing and Rex made it the right choice. Kudos to Anthony as well.

Very nice experience at Mazda of Poughkeepsie! My sales person Rex was very professional and wonderful to work with. He was very knowledgeable with all my questions and was patient with me as I wasn’t sure about buying just yet. He truly was trying hard to make all my concerns clear and understandable so he could do what I wanted in a car. Even after the sale he reached out to me and I needed help with the Mazda app and he coached me through it with ease. He really wanted to make sure I was happy, start to finish and beyond. I highly recommend Rex and Mazda of Poughkeepsie!

Had a bad experience here. Made an online appointment for a test drive. Confirmed it hours before through their text system. Went there, and they didn't have the keys to test drive and said it needs to get inspected before we can drive it. So I went there for nothing. I really needed a work truck, and it was a good price, so the salesman said I can put down a $500 deposit, and he will drop it off at my house for a test drive on Friday, which sounded nice. So I did. Friday came and went, and they never arrived. And told me it would need more time before I can drive it. I called the dealership and told them if they can't make it Friday, to call me on Thursday so I won't wait for them. I had to actively go find the people I needed instead of them contacting me.
I immediately knew I made a mistake. I eventually found a great truck elsewhere, and called them and told them to refund the deposit. Days went by, and I called to confirm that it was refunded (which it wasn't even started). Now, a week after that call, I'm on hold for over 25mins trying to get it refunded still.
Very unprofessional and frustrating. Here are some things they can do better:
1) Remove cars that aren't ready for a test drive from their online appointment list. And call customers if they realize they don't even have the keys to drive it.
2) Not tell customers the deposit is refundable if you have to jump through hoops and hours on the phone to get it back.
3) Just tighten things up and keep updating the customer right away if there's any delay.
8.31.24 - We got our deposit back. Funny when you finaly write a bad review is when they actually help you.

Worst service. Took my deposit in 20 mins, but it has been taking forever to get the refund back. It's been 10 days since we informed them that we want to get the refund back. They never call and contact the customer about the process. I haven't got a confirmation or anything from them. Feel like being scammed.
My husband and I were interested in buying a truck but when we got there nothing was ready. Wasted so much time and energy to go there. The truck was not even ready for a test drive.The saleperson said confidently that he would bring the truck to our house for the test drive in 2 days. Unfortunately it never happened. They moved us to Tuesday to get a test drive at the dealership. Luckily, we found a new nice truck from another dealership that only took 1 day from the test drive to getting the truck. Their service is way better than this place plus we got a lot of better deals.
Think again before visiting here. Service is horrible.

This is my second Mazda lease at Route 9, and, once again, it was a spectacular experience. Jim Green was a terrific salesperson who answered all of my questions and gave me a fantastic deal on a new CX-30. Buying or leasing a car can be an unpleasant experience, but at Route 9 Mazda it was a 5-star experience!! Thanks again Jim and crew!
