If I could give this review a negative star I would. The customer service here is ATROCIOUS!!! I had placed my first and last curbside order at this location. When I got the email giving directions to park at the designated parking space but saw that there were empty parking spaces, so I had to go in the mall.Once in the store. I went to an associate and explained the situation in the parking lot. She said she understood, that they were short staffed and wouldn’t be able to send someone out. She then INSTRUCTS me to STAND BY THE REGISTER the cashier would help me. As I am walking away, I HEAR RADIO THIS ON THE WALKIR TO OTHER ASSOCIATES/CASHIERS. I did as instructed and was ignored by the cashier. She didn’t even acknowledge me. MIND THIS WAS RADIO’D BY THE ASSOCIATE PRIOR.This goes on for eight minutes. Then this young lady comes up to the register to pickup her online order. This is when I got fed up!!!I approach a young lady with badly dyed red hair and tell her what’s going and that I am now running late for work. She barely listens to me, tells me she needs put something down and with snarky attitude I need to wait online next. I tell her I was instructed to go the side of the register. At this point I was so annoyed and P.O’d by the disrespect and poor customer service, I grabbed my order and left!!!!As previously mentioned earlier. This is the first and last I will do a curbside order. As well as shop at this store. If I wanted attitude from 20 somethings Ill go to the MAC counter in MACY*S

Did buy online and curbside pick up. When I shower up it stated I needed to come in. Then I was told by the staff that I need to wait on line as they are all with clients. I did all this to avoid issues with lines and walking through the mall. If that is the case you really should be making your customer aware!

One of the employees at this store was extremely loud and rude for no reason. I had to return something and I guess she had a bad day and decided I was her person. Terrible attitude.

The store is ok. The one thing I don't like is that they rarely have samples or don't like give them. That is why I won't be ordering and sending to store anymore because online I can get samples. And I usually buy more stuff after I picked up my order, so if would be great customer service to start having/giving samples.

I really love Sephora! But...I love Sephora, and I frequently purchase a few of my favorite items from there, but every time I walk in the staff follows me around during my whole shopping trip! At my closest Sephora I feel somewhat targeted by the staff, I spend lots of money there and get treated in a very weird way.

The cashier was unnecessarily rude after I declined her offer for rewards . Tossed my bag at me & did not say another word . Terrible customer service . Will not be coming back . I like Ulta better anyway — at least their employees have class .

Staff in the Poughkeepsie location are rude, unprofessional, and cocky.

The Sephora in the Poughkeepsie Galleria is clean, organized and the staff is very helpful. They come up to you to ask if you need help but they don't pressure you. Also, my recommendation is that you sign up for their "beauty insider" rewards program. It's free and when you do you can earn points for money spent and even get a free gift for your birthday. This year I got a mini Dior perfume bottle!

I walked in with my two children ( on Sun 12/11 at 2:00) to buy one product that I have been out of for months. My children are pretty good in stores, but as we walked in my three year olds foot got stuck in my purse as I was holding him. It was quickly released but he yelled and cried for ten seconds. When i was trying to console him, an employee with blonde hair (maybe 5'2) in her mid forty's or fifty's said, no screaming is allowed in this store"! I felt sick to my stomach and so upset, however she walked away so I could not say anything in time. When we were checking out of the store, another employee said "did anyone help you today". I said, "no not even a hello, but a woman that wanted to yell at my child for being in pain". I do not complain, but Sephora you could do better. That employee has no idea who my child is or if he has a disability. So shame on you. We were definitely discriminated against. I will never ever go back.

Love Sephora and usually they have the nicest most helpful but the cashier at the Poughkeepsie NY mall store was not friendly and seemed like she just didn’t want to be there.

- I am not a Sephora shopper. I don't think they have many male customers. I don't command my wife and do not disuade her from patronizing make-over places like this. If she did I would be disappointed. It is my great good fortune that she does not shop at beautifying venues. Possibly I am lucky as she is beautiful with out assistance from mall shops that offer magical potions or 'parlors', which alter the faces of their clients. Sephora in the Poughkeepsie Galleria is a left-over from JC Penney. My personal prejudice against such places accounts for my low star rating. Sephora's clients probably love to pay 'Big Bucks' to make themselves 'beautiful.' As a past retailer of style oriented items I question people's esthetic taste who ignore the functionality of a product and are driven to purchase the latest so called 'stylish item.' In the minds of beauty seekers the magical potions and powders that they purchase will alter their lives for the better. In the end they only increase their disatisification of themselves and are driven to seek more advanced and exotic products. These unhappy people need to work on their minds instead of attempting to improve their hair or their skin. Better would be sending the funds from your planned Sephora purchase to the Ukraine where the population is attempting to get food to eat, and have no time to make themselves beautiful. CARE is a good choice for donations. At the high prices of Sephora I am confident that their products are pure and not harmful. If you are addicted to Sephora you may achieve a purchase on the Web and pick up your selection at the Poughkeepsie Location.

I recently moved up state and I have to say the staff here is very unfriendly. They never greet me, smile or ask if I need assistance. They’re like statues. I’ve been here well over 10 times and I don’t recommend it due to the energy of the staff. Very uncomfortable. I never experienced customer service like this at any other Sephora.
