9$ for parmesan cheese? 7$ for a pack of gum? I know its a convenience store but this is more expensive than any other. Shameful

Third time I went in there since moving here. Twice the cashier had his mask under nose. Tonight, worst of all, I stood outside while I watched two customers totally without masks get served. THERE IS A SIGN ON THE DOOR "NO MASK NO SERVICE." Yet they were served. I confronted the customers when they came out and they said "well we're not sick." I went into the store thinking I'd best not. I asked the cashier, mask under his nose again, and asked why he served the customers without masks. His totally enlightened reply "Oh I did not notice and our sign is not that big." You have got to be kidding me. Not going there again and I suggest you don't either.

Mask rules not enforced. Two customers in there tonight with no masks. I confronted them and they said "well we're not sick." Like they know or not if they have the virus. Definitely typical redneck, low class Poughkeepsie folk. Confronted the cashier about letting these people in and he, mask below his nose by the way, says, "Well I didn't notice and our sign is not very big..." Won't be going back there anytime soon even though I live right across the street.

I was confronted by an employee at Stop And Go, about an issue unrelated to store business, and outside of the store. The employee's name is Tisha. I contacted the owner to bring this issue to his attention, but he is not enforced any action.

I had diarrhea in this gas station once. I was in the restroom for half an hour, my butt acting like a fountain. They were closing and thankfully the cashier let me finish. I didn't buy gas or anything. I'll never have fish tacos again. I'm only giving four stars because their tp was thin and rough and took about 4 hours and some aloe to feel normal again.

(I just lost a 4 paragraph really great review that I didn't backup earlier today from an experience that now goes back 2 days ago. Please bear with me as I try to re-create as much as I can possibly remember about this. I know right now that it won't be as great as the first time trying to review, but I'll try the best I can at remembering the details. Innis Ave and Violet Ave are several miles apart and reflect two separate roads from two separate directions.) (This time, I'm going to backup my work.) 2 days ago, having had passed this Shell gas station so many times on my way to Dutchess Community College (not connected to the Violet Ave store in any way), I came in here from several Uber runs in Poughkeepsie when the first place I thought of nearby was this place. I knew I'd had problems with Shell in the past but I figured "what's the worst that can happen?" as I was in the area over near Fulton St. I knew I had to meet someone at Eveready in Hyde Park, but I also realized that I needed to stop at Dutchess Community College to use a restroom I know of. When I came in here in the early evening, I was shocked when Waze - the third-party navigation app sent me in via the turn from the entrance where all the south-bound people use. I was shocked that it was so tight and that my navigation would have forced me to come in. Why don't you change that so you have two exit and entrances that work the same way with straight in/out locations. Southbound people need to veer off into the Shell station then wind their way around to get to the pumps, while northbound is a straight-in motion weaving just to the west of the small couple-shops shopping mall/convenience stores (not operated in ownership of Shell). I've seen several Shell stations bring people in without weaving off on the side and had no problems but this one was stranger. When I finally got around to pumping my gas, I had my Shell and GasBuddy cards ready and within a few moments, I was ready to pump. I inserted the one then the other. I liked how well lit this place was - it seemed like daylight through the high-intensity bulbs that lit the place near the pumps. I felt blinded by these bulbs as I left, but it was comforting to be able to see the pumps and not feel like someone was lurking around me. But when push came to shove, when I hung up the nozzle after the sale, I was offered my receipt. My receipt never printed, but after standing around a few extra seconds, I heard the machine begin to print - not too sure what happened there (might be faulty machinery or could the paper have been stuck but the paper could have been "spotted" by the machine so much so that it thought there was paper there but couldn't push the paper out at the end. You could hear gears. I really didn't know what to say. With GasBuddy, my receipts get stored on my phone in my account (the only reason why I ask for receipts is as a reminder to review a new gas station here on Yelp), so I didn't feel I needed to go in. But on the flip coin, if the place ever did check on the machine, I really didn't want my information floating around. I don't really know what I should have done in this case, and I've seen quite a lot of problems in gas stations. During this whole experience, I think I do remember seeing one other car pull-up next-to me. However, I was shocked that there weren't more when you compare that to the College a couple miles around the corner (and I bet college kids from Highland stop by here since this is part of the route it asks you to take (cause I"ve taken this route via signs and it goes right past it). Although I don't come by very often, I bet this trip won't be my last trip in to this Shell on Innis Ave.

Average gas station. Prices aren't the most competitive. Be aware, has a 10 cent surcharge for credit card purchases.

Location is difficult to enter and exit onto the street. Otherwise fine.
