“I always look forward to the opportunity to wander through the canyons of books. To move to the second floor and search through countless examples of humankind's best - the written word. Then - I ask one of the B&N employees and wait, hoping that they will be helpful. Wonder of wonder - they always are! And friendly, courteous, good-natured. Going to B&N is always a treat.”

“Went to PluseMD for sinus infection. However Canterbury Plaza is a Shopping mall located at 696 Dutchess Turnpike, Poughkeepsie, New York 12603, US.Very clean establishment with plenty of parking and has multiple stores and services include In-store shopping .”
“Nice local shopping area. They recently updated with a new drive through Dunkin Donuts and it is really showing how the owners want to upgrade the area, keeping it relevant.”
“This plaza has a lot of businesses that come and go, but it's an easy to get in get out plaza. I just wish most of the business is here would stay especially the main anchor eatery.”

“The Poughkeepsie Galleria was built back in 1987. At that time the South Hills Mall right next door was thriving. Apon the completion of the Galleria it began to slowly suck the life out of it. In 2009 the indoor South Hills Mall as it was known was demolished leaving it a former broken up shell of itself. Over the last few decades it has managed to build itself back up to a strip mall of sorts.
Through those years the Poughkeepsie Galleria has managed to maintain, even surviving covid as other malls like The Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston have been looking like they're on the brink of extinction. Though it is not thriving as it's former new self, the Galleria still holds down a fair number of mainstream stores.
Macy's, Best Buy, Target, Spencer's, and Hot Topic, etc. to name a few. It also has a Regal Galleria Mall movie theater for your movie pleasures. If you are looking for a place to shop in the Poughkeepsie area, the Poughkeepsie Galleria is still a solid choice for your shopping needs.
If your looking for a similar indoor mall shopping experience, your next best choices would be in Middletown, N.Y. at the Galleria at Crystal Run, or in Danbury, Ct. at the Danbury Fair (mall) (Note: there is no movie theater at this location, but there is one 15 minutes away. Also this mall has slightly higher end stores such as Banana Republic, American Eagle Outfitters, L.L. Bean, Eddie Bauer etc.)

“The Shoppes at South Hills is a great shopping destination with a solid mix of stores that makes it easy to get a lot done in one stop. Everything is laid out well, parking is convenient, and the entire plaza feels clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
There’s a good variety of shops here, from everyday essentials to specialty stores. Grocery and food options are well stocked and fresh, retail stores are clean and organized, and the bakery and prepared food selections really stand out. Whether you’re running quick errands, shopping for household items, or picking up food, there’s something here for everyone.
The stores are well maintained, and the staff I’ve encountered across the plaza have been friendly and helpful. It never feels chaotic or overwhelming, even when multiple stores are busy at the same time. The overall atmosphere is comfortable and convenient, which makes shopping here stress-free.
This is one of those plazas you can rely on for consistent quality and selection. Well-deserved 5 stars for variety, convenience, and overall experience.”
