Thrifty Beverage first opened its doors to the City of Poughkeepsie in 1987. We offer a variety of beer services at our 185 N Hamilton street location including wholesale beer, craft beer sales. We also offer QuickDraw and NY Lottery. We pride ourselves in decades of reputable business and treating our customers with friendly and welcoming employees. The staff here are very helpful and knowledgeable. While the selection is not huge, they will order what you want if you desire. The prices are also very reasonable.

Have always helped me, and my family with whatever we needed. Never had a problem here. Friendly staff, well stocked store, and they cash checks. A staple in poughkeepsie if you ask me.

Staff in Check Cashing and other staff members are very helpful with my needs. Then I go to get cigerattes staff on that side of the store are also helpful. WTG Thirty Staff all the way around!!! Keep up the wonderful work??
