U‑Haul of Poughkeepsie offers everything for local or long‑distance moves: truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, pickup trucks, self‑storage, portable U‑Box containers, Moving Help® providers, hitch installations, moving and shipping boxes, propane, and online reservations. Customers note the truck was great, good condition, and the young man who helped was friendly and had a patient, helpful attitude. Older people were not that familiar with the technology involved. Some noted the van engine hesitated before turning over, which was very disconcerting. Hitch installation was fast and the manager was sweet, helping with bike‑rack pin. The shop was clean and bright, parking lot well designed for pickup and return. Two support people were very knowledgeable and very helpful, ensuring customers got what they needed for their trip.
The interior of the van was very clean - the windshields had a bit of snow/water/salt residue, but given the time of year that is understandable. I spent a little time wiping down the front windshield and mirrors, not a big problem. Other wise everything was fine.

The U-Haul associate I dealt with at this location was incredible! She not only attached the trailer to my truck but performed all safety checks and explained detailed information from towing to drop off in Florida. Thank you!
