“As a wedding photographer in the Hudson Valley, I'm always curious about new venues, and being able to photograph a wedding at Keepsake at the Academy in Poughkeepsie was a great experience. The mural on the exterior of the building is fantastic for portraits; it's really vibrant and adds a lot of visual interest to the photos. Inside, the space is beautifully industrial - it has a unique warehouse vibe that feels clean, modern, and intentionally put together. The natural light is excellent. What I appreciate most about Keepsake is that it's essentially a blank slate.Whether someone wants to go minimal or bring in a ton of decor, the space works with pretty much any vision. If you're looking for something a bit different from the standard wedding venue options, this is a solid choice. It's well-maintained, the layout works well for events, and it photographs beautifully.”

“My daughter had her sweet 16th party on 1/6/24. Everything was amazing!Heather and Cherilyn make sure that my daughter had everything she wanted down to the food her special drink . We got so many compliments on the food that the chef did an amazing job to the point they just want to come by to order food ??. The drinks, cleanup , I'm not giving you guys a 5. I'm giving you all a 10. The weather was bad that everyone didn't come but we still enjoyed our time.Thank you, guys!”

“MJN Convention center/Civic center is one of the core arenas in the nation that has been hiding professional wrestling for years. From WWF, WWE, TNA, NEW, House of Hardcore and now Awesome Championship wrestling have all had many shows there and every single time the arena has been the perfect size, but too big and not too small. Plus, occasionally you might graduate high school there or even see concerts or go to conventions. That building is becoming historic!”
