“Joe did a great job with a minor repair to my vehicle (replacing a left side mirror that was badly damaged) and was helpful and accommodating, even getting the repair done faster so that I could get to work on time when I was later to the shop than expected due to being unfamiliar with the location and being guided to the shop’s old address in error by Google Maps. The repair itself looks very sturdy and he was able to order and paint the necessary parts within just a few days’ time.”
“Great experience. Called Parker ahead of time with a dead battery. Offered to send a driver but I got a jump and when I showed up, he had battery in stock, loaned me tools to swap out the batteries, needed a few extra things like rods and nuts for the battery hold and he gifted them. Just great customer service all around.”

“I had borrowed a car for a few days and had scratched the side of it with a gate entrance. It was bad. I had to return the car the next day and felt horrible about the damage. I was driving on the Dutchess TP thru pleasant valley and saw the auto parts store, Carquest. I immediately parked and walked in. (Please note, I had a soft cast on my left foot and had difficulty walking.)
I walked in and a woman named Tammie immediately greeted me and smiled. Asked me if I needed help. I figured I could do this all myself and said. “No thanks…” but then I thought, she works here, she would know!
I told her the situation and without question, she quickly grabbed some products she had in the back and walked out to the car with me! (Who does that these days). She tried to fill in the scratch with filler, then compared paints but felt the color paint she had wasn’t right. I was going to walk back in with her but she said “oh no, you stay out here. You can’t keep walking back and forth with that foot!” What customer service! I was parked far from the entrance and she was being so incredibly thoughtful. She came back with a set of cans, and didn’t feel the match was right. Walked back in to change cans and came out yet again! Bingo, a match. She told me how to apply the paint, far away long strokes from left to right, even offered to do it for me after I purchased the paint. But I felt so bad already. I declined her offer. We went back in so I can purchase the paint! And off I went.
But all this to say, Tammie really went out of her way to help me, OUT OF HER WAY! She was so kind, patient and resourceful. You don’t get this kind of service often. It’s rare. And I am so glad she was there.
Tammie’s a keeper. A valuable asset that makes me want to only come back to this store to see her if I ever need help again!”

“Very nice and knowledgeable staff. Not something I’ve come to expect at other auto parts stores.I came here to get brakes for my car. I had some miscommunication with the employee and got the wrong brakes. I came back to get the correct brakes. Turns out the correct brakes were a decent amount more expensive but they gave them to me without charging me and took the blame for our miscommunication. Outstanding customer service.”

“My wife and I are new to the area. Last week her car died. We brought it to the nearest repair shop (not Green’s) in Rhinebeck. They replaced the battery and the car made it home. Our next time using the car it started to lose power. The repair shop never diagnosed the car and just assumed it was the battery. We found Green’s and it just so happened to be 3 minutes from home. We had enough charge to make it to Green’s and dropped it off on Friday night. We left the key in the drop box and a note on the car. First thing Monday, Art called to tell us the alternator was bad. When we picked the car up, We paid the bill and Art mentioned he replaced the serpentine belt as well. Art was great! We paid a very fair price and couldn’t be happier with the prompt attention to our commuter car. We found ourselves a real gem in Green’s! We always prefer to support local and if you’re in the area, I believe you can trust Art to be fair, take care of your vehicle without feeling taken. Highly recommend Art and Green’s! Thanks for the prompt, fair and attentive service!”
