I was looking for glass fireplace door hardware . couldn't find it . I called Joe at Chubby's and was the only person for weeks I talked to who knew what I was talking about . went there and instantly filled my needs . these big box stores no nothing . good ole back in the day hardware stores save time, money and your greeted with great service . They were out of 3/8 in Manervinator fittings. The proprietor searched locally and found the part for me at a competitors store. Now that’s customer service! Thank you Joe. Thanks to you I was able to finish my project on time.

I really love this store. I live in Darien, CT and will go out of my way if I'm anywhere in the vicinity. The people are great, very nice, and knowledgeable. You don't have to wait forever to talk to someone, and they have a great selection considering the size of the store compared to the big box stores. Most importantly, my dog loves it there, so how can I say no to that.

Convenient location and everyone that works there is pretty nice. Decent selection. Prices are a little high but hey there’s nothing else in the area so it is what it is on that end.
