One of my favorite places. Reminds me of an old Brooklyn eatery. The staff is superb and the food is excellent. The room in the back is perfect for date night.

The service as well as the food was impeccable, so hats off to a fantastic staff and chef. We started with a simple appetizer (Calamari) followed by some delicious entrees which included vegan options. Everyone was friendly and very responsive.

This Pound Ridge restaurant pounded my stomach. Was visiting a friend nearby and we went to DiNardo’s as it was the only place that was open. Upon entering the waitress was quite sassy and unresponsive. Additionally, the ambiance was poor—as my friend described it, “it felt like a Lego set”.We were first given some mediocre warmed bread and a very suspicious dip that gave my friend acid reflex (see photo). The food followed shortly and left much to be desired. The pizza was probably the best part and was ok at best. But it all left a strange taste in our mouths and queasiness in our stomachs. If this is the only place open when you’re in Pound Ridge, do yourself a favour and drive to the next town instead.

Nice place. Food's good generally, but, unfortunately, I've had shellfish takeout on a few occasions that wasn't properly rinsed so was sandy. Other than that, the pizza is good too...

Loved the option to eat outside, inside, or inside with a tablecloth. Delicious Italian food - I had a wonderful gluten free/dairy free chicken liver with onions and mushrooms, husband had bow tie pasta with lobster (tomato cream sauce), friend had a pasta with pancetta - all really yummy! And lots of people were stopping by just for pizza. Also the Tiramisu is light and decadent!Parking: Parking on street or behind the building.

The food (roast chicken, spaghetti, rigatoni, veal, and sides) was ordinary, the gluten-free pasta overcooked and soggy. Worse, the owner was rude, rigid and belligerent. We were a party of 9 in their so-called formal dining room, a few feet away from their casual dining room. My grandson ordered a gluten-free pizza from the "other room," but we were told that they don't serve their pizzas in the formal dining room, even though the pizzas are on their online menu along with all their other options. We asked why not but she insisted that was their policy and they haven't changed their policy in over 40 years. When we asked if she would make an exception since my grandson and his father can only eat gluten free she told us that we could all move to the "other room" but she wouldn't serve pizza in her "formal" dining room. Our large party had already been seated and were about to order, and there were no other customers in the room. She refused to let the waiter walk the five extra feet into the "formal" dining room, so my grandson sat through dinner without food while we all ate. She said we could order his pizza, have it boxed up, and take it home, but he couldn't eat it in the dining room. And we could leave if we didn't like her rules. We found her rigidity and rude behavior outrageous. There is nothing formal about their formal dining room except a tablecloth added to the tables. After we ordered, they also informed us that they didn't have the gluten-free bread on the menu either. This restaurant is not worth your trip, not for the food or the service. There are many finer restaurants in the area. Two waiters apologized for the owner, but it's still not worth the bother.

Love them s restaurant and have been going for years. When we came with the family for a Sunday night pizza & the pizza room was full they actually turned as away rather than seat a family of 4 in the otherwise empty other side. Very very disappointed & poor business practice for a neighborhood restaurant
