No frills but a great place. Staff and guests were all friendly. Few different spots outside to hang out, stairs down to the river, clean, and right off the main road. We were in the cheaper rooms which were a little small. At first not having a tv seemed bad, but realizing no neighboring rooms would have the tv on late made it better. Would definitely stay here again.

This place was a breath of fresh air. The staff made you feel like family. The food was amazing. I will be returning! Upon arrival we were greeted by Char. She went out of her way to make sure we had a good trip and she prepared some great meals for us. When you stay here you will feel like you are family!

Fantastic value for those on a tight budget. Not exactly luxury rooms and fine dining, but perfectly acceptable accommodations for me.

Who goes out into the elements and says its super unsafe ?,we are adults exploring potentially unsafe areas of wilderness. Its on you dont blame the camp, the camp is beautiful and couldn't get any closer to the river. Just wear your big boy pants or go watch some ellen.

If there was a zero star option that is what the tubing experience would get. It was super unsafe. There was trees down and super strong currents that we were not told about. We had a group of 19 who all got slammed into a fallen tree and had a bunch of people almost drown. We were all fighting for our lives! We were told we could touch the ground the whole way down but that was not the case. They should have to check out the river before they just let people go down it. Somebody could get seriously hurt or die. It is no joke! I would not recommend this for anyone; let alone people with children. When we got back the people that provided us with tubes had no concern for our lives and had no input what-so ever. All these people want is your money and do not care what happens to you. So if you are expecting a lovely tube ride down the river I would not attend this.

Expressed a fun tubing experience. Didn’t actually check the water levels and sent us down blindly. To then be caught in rapids and trees with fishing line. Many times that your head couldn’t even be above water and you were struggling to stay up. 0/10 do not recommend.

Terrible tubing experience. Ended up being taken by rapids and struggling to keep our heads above water. If you want to drown in there then go right ahead. They don’t bother to even know how the water levels are and send you down blindly without knowing if it’s safe. 0/10 do not recommend.

Love Steelhead Lodge. The rooms are always clean, the owners and staff are friendly and helpful. It's always great at the end of the long day to hang out in the lodge.

Such a lovely place!! The people here are fantastic and I could not ask for anything else. The dinner on my first night was mushroom stroganoff and it was delightful. If you are looking for direct access to the world right now Salmon River and a place that is family owned and operated spend your money at this is the go to.
