One of the best boxing gyms.....The training is unbelievable

I started coming here back in November and I didn’t know what to expect but I can proudly say that joining this gym was one of the best decisions I made in my life. The coaches here could either be your friend or your mentor the choice is yours because there are no classes but they are always watching you and critiquing your technique and how you could improve—You might ask then why should you join? Because this isn’t just a regular boxing gym it’s really just a Big Family and the discipline that you would learn here will stay with you for the rest of your life. This gym is a hidden gem and I would recommend everyone to train here for at least just one month and see the discipline you learn! Shout to Coach Christian, Naeebel, Manny, Raul, Shaeed, and head Coach Al for making the gym a friendly atmosphere for everybody.

So i signed up for this gym not too long ago. I feel like i spent money for no reason, this location is definitely a money grab. I was given a small tutorial on what to do and after that i was left alone. On the website it says they work with beginners and i am one. Feel like i made a mistake coming here. Wish it was a better experience but i was let down.

The gym you can trust and improve. I came into the gym as an introvert and a shy individual and yes the boxing gym in itself was intimidating I don’t know why I wanted to box hehe. When I entered the gym I was very intimidated with everyone cause it is a combat sport and being new is intimidating. I came in with the notion that it was a class but it is not it’s a gym where you yourself have to put in individual with program you have to follow and you have the access to the gym in their business hour. The coaches are very extroverted which as a introvert it was difficult, but their enthusiasm to make me improve was very motivating for me to open up to everyone in the gym to find out everyone leaves their ego at the door and want everyone in the gym to be the best version of themselves. This is a gym where you have to show discipline where no one is telling you what to do but to follow the regiment. You might ask what’s the point if they are not teaching you? Trust me I had that thought too, but they are always watching and will critique and help you if they see you following the protocol they set for you. First day They will introduce you to the basic training in the first day orientation. The atmosphere is competitive and friendly. The gym is a hidden gym. Thanks to head coach AL and the supporting coaches Chris, Lyndon, Nabeel, Raul, and Robert for trusting in my process and supporting and helping me to be confidence in myself.

I was hesitant to join at first since I have never boxed before and it is a male dominated sport. However, after training with Coach Nabeel I can confidently say that I gained so much knowledge about the sport. He made the learning process so simple to understand. I was able to learn much more than anticipated. I have already recommended him to some of my friends.

This gym will alter your life. Started going here 3 years ago. Great atmosphere. All of the coaches do an incredible job keeping a family-like environment. Regardless of what your goal is, this gym will teach you the worth of hard work and discipline. Coach Al is a mastermind when it comes to technique and notices small details that many others would overlook. Coach Chris is the life of the gym, really funny and honest dude. For anyone who is trying to lose weight, expect that weight to fly off at EQBC. For those looking to get into boxing and learn the sweet science, this place is fundamentally sound. I have been to other fighting gyms, but none of them came close to the feeling that I get at EQBC. They even have classes for kids and women! All the equipment that you will need is sold at EQBC. I still have a lot to learn myself, but I am glad that venture will be made at this gym.

I noticed a lot of 5 star reviews for this place and im not 100% sure what their experience was like but mine was horrible. This is not the gym for women (notice a lot of people who leave a review are men). I've boxed for years with many coaches. During my 1-1 session (which lasted 4 hours because "my coach" kept walking away to smoke cigarettes and talk to other members.) I was insulted many times, horrible things were said about my personal appearance, I felt horrible about trying something new, felt judged for making mistakes, and didnt feel like I learned anything. Coaches name was Chris and I don't know how he still has a job there. He bragged about being able to say whatever he wanted and no one cares because he was that good. Only thing he was good at was making someone who was genuinely excited to try something new feel bad about themselves. If you've got really tough skin, like being insulted, don't need accountability since they leave you to do your own thing more often than not, this is the gym for you. Gym didn't feel safe or like a family to me.Also, Coach Al is not cool. 2 months later trying to discuss this issue and get a refund and his response to me was "sorry rick from finance will contact you" yet every person i speak to from the studio says they need to speak with the owner. Who is really in charge here? In my opinion, I was robbed $355 and no one seems to be willing to give that money back or even talk about it. They are fake and have no interest in making it right. DO NOT GIVE THEM MONEY.

They might be okay for boxing, but their ethics are questionable. Several times, they were notified to stop spamming the website, Writers Cafe, in the area reserved for members to post their work, with what they call a story, but which is spam for the service. They can buy ads on the site, but instead, intrude, and help make the site less fun for the members. Thet's punching below the belt. Three times we notified them, but the request to stop was ignored, and the spam continues. Todays Spam is here:

I came here wanting to pick up a hobby. I found myself coming every day for the community. Everybody is cool here and is willing to help someone new. Coach Nabeel has been extremely helpful in my development as I see myself getting better each day. I signed up for his private sessions and I really get to work on my weak points (extremely recommend). Definitely going to be coming here for years to come.

A great boxing gym in Queens! Very legit boxing club where everyone is humble. Great workout for any age or type of person, but they also support aspiring athletes that wish to really fight and compete in the sport of boxing. Coach Al is a also very straight forward and honest coach.
