“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My son has been at Tiny Tykes since April and he has grown leaps and bounds. When he arrives, he is so excited to see his classmates and happily runs into the classroom. Everyday they do fun activities and lots of arts and crafts. The school has many themed activities for the month and the curriculum is great. My son’s teachers are kind and hands on and I never have any worries that he is in good hands. Miss Chrissy and Miss Jeanne run an amazing school and we look forward to sending our other son there when he is old enough. Tiny Tykes is a wonderful place!!”

“My son started Academic Explorers approximately 6 months ago and he loves it! He’s happy to go every morning and has been learning so much. One day he came home counting in Spanish and I was happy because it shows how much they’re learning at school. If you’ve been wondering where to send your children, I would highly recommend this establishment! Everyone is friendly and welcoming and your kids will feel safe and at home.”

“Kiddie academy is truly professional for the youth education. My child comes home with a big smiley face everyday. The teachers are very caring, loving and patient with the children. The daily circle time is my child’s favorite, which helped to develop her reading habit. Definitely one of the top early educational place to go!”
“So happy we found St Marks Nursery School. My son spent two summers going to camp there and was enrolled in the three and fours program. The teachers and staff are phenomenal. Fun, loving, energetic personalities that keep the kids always wanting to learn. They learn through play, reading, interactive activities and field trips and so much more. There is a music class that they all attend which is amazing, where the kids are so involved and having fun. The playground is a very special place as well. Because it is a co-op, parents are very involved which really gives it that family/community feel. Participations days at the school are a highlight for me. I love being in class with my kids seeing what they do and getting to spend time with them there. We’ve met some amazing friends while at St Marks which was so nice since we were new to the area. My oldest is now in kindergarten and excelling. I know it’s because of the experience he had at St Marks. My daughter is now in the 3s program and thriving and making friends and having a blast. So happy she still has this coming summer and next year so we can continue to be a part of the St Marks family.”

“I can not say enough about how amazing Bright Star is and how lucky we feel to have found this school. The teachers are caring, attentive, and encouraging, and they really take the time to get to know each child. The director and the staff also go above and beyond to ensure that the facility is a safe environment for the kids. That peace of mind as a parent is priceless. If you're looking for daycare that employs a more academic approach but also encourages early childhood discovery and fun, this is the place!”

“Excellent service. Very satisfactory and sanitary. Great place to work, highly suggested for students that need tutoring or SAT or SHSAT prep. As a part time employee, the students much enjoyed learning, interacting, and bonding with the tutors and other students as well as the staff.”
“I cannot say enough great things about OKP. My son started when he was 2.5 and has done both the regular school year and summer program. The teachers and the staff are truly the heart of what makes OKP such a special place. On top of creating such a nurturing environment, they’ve supported potty training, a very educational curriculum (academic, cultural, and social) and every day is just filled with fun.”
“After spending the first 15 months at home with baby, the process of finding a great daycare that would met my needs and wants was not an easy task. From the minute we came for a tour, baby was very responsive, walking up to the administrative staff. It was clear my child was very pleased and enjoyed the environment.Having access to the app to see all the pictures that are posted and any questions I may have during the day is also an added benefit. Since starting at the wooden shoe, there is so much noticeable social development that we have witnessed, especially learning. Singing the alphabet , counting and just more socially excited and engaged with people are some of the few benefits of this daycare. Most importantly, from the minute I drop off my child I am not anxious, worried or concerned, because I know they are being properly cared for and loved on. All the teachers know my childs name and are soo kind. Kids want to feel important and have a desire for belonging. I can see by the way my child is excited about daycare from the minute we park the car out front, that they feel the love from everyone there. Every meal, diaper change and naps are tracked in the app, thats some great attention to detail. Even when you are away you can still keep track of what your child is doing in the day, its nice. Some other things I like that are not related to childcare, i really like how responsive the administrative staff is. I can send an email in the morning and get extremely fast responses. As a healthcare professional, I take professionalism extremely seriously, so this is a huge plus. I really like how they present themselves when it comes down to my questions and providing answers. Also, we communicate with the teacher what we are teaching our child at home, and the teacher reinforces that in school and vice versa. Its great all around.Daycare is an investment in your child's future. And this is an investment that we are extremely happy to make. This place is an answered prayer, very grateful to God for everyone at the Wooden Shoe :)”

“Our son has been going to this school since he turned 2 years old. GNCS is a wonderful school with a devoted parent body, a highly experienced teaching staff and a great facility that includes a massive playground and outdoor class room. The school provides a safe and enriched environment for kids to grow, develop and thrive. It is definitely the top choice for daycare school in the Great Neck area. Highly recommended!”

My daughter currently attends Stepping stone the teachers have been beyond amazing, and passionate about educating the children. They really know what they are doing & are very well trained. “We’ve had our son since he was almost 6 months old at LightBridge academy.Everyone, from admin staff to the teachers are wonderful with the kids. They’re all treated with love, kindness, and respect. They adhere quite strictly to safety measures and communicate thoroughly throughout the day.My son has been assessed and has been deemed advanced in great part to Lightbrige Academy. He learned ASL (less tantrums- trust me), basic Spanish, letters, numbers, advanced environmental concepts, etc. all years ahead of some of my families other children. My husband and I work full time and our families are very far away, so LightBridge has become our village. One of the best parenting decisions we’ve ever made for our miracle baby.”
“The Community House is a true treasure in Forest Hills. All three of my kids went to school and after-school here, and it’s been an incredible part of our lives. They learned to swim here, made lifelong friends, and grew in confidence. The staff is amazing — they truly care about the kids and the community. This is so much more than a facility; it’s a place that brings families together and helps children.”

“My 3 children have attended kids campus. Kids campus has been a part of our lives for 12 years and all I can say are positive things. My children started attending from 6 weeks and graduated Pre K there. The level of care that we received starting from infancy was exceptional. Both my girls were more than ready by the time they started kindergarten. Being a working mother and having Kids campus has been the biggest blessing for my family. I am grateful to all the teachers and directors that have and continue to create a safe and secure space for my children.”

“The team at Kiddie Academy, led by the exceptional Gloria and Ms. Juana, truly stands out. Every teacher here is deeply committed to the well-being and education of their students, and this commitment is evident in their interactions with them. Moreover, they are highly attuned to our child’s food allergies and always take extra precautions to ensure that any allergens are double-checked. We wholeheartedly trust the wonderful teachers and staff at Kiddie Academy!”
“I received a superb medical education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I practiced medicine for 50 years that included 2 years practicing adult medicine in the United States Public Health Service and 3 years as a resident in Ophthalmology. During those 5 years I had a regular weekly stint working as an Emergency Room physician at a very busy hospital. I retired from my private solo Ophthalmology practice after 44 years. The fabulous education I received at Einstein enabled me to function at the highest level in every medical situation I encountered with the knowledge and experience that was required.”

“THE BEST SCHOOL EVER. I CANNOT DESCRIBE HOW GOOD THIS SCHOOL IS. If you’re searching for a good elementary school for your kid/s. “Choosing a preschool for our little one was a daunting task. As parents, trust is paramount, and finding a place where we felt truly comfortable entrusting our child's early education was challenging. However, our worries dissolved the moment we stepped into Our Kids Place.
From the warm welcoming staff to the engaging curriculum, this place exceeded all our expectations.
The staff here radiates genuine care and passion for what they do, making it easy to trust them with our daughter. Each day, my daughter eagerly looks forward to going to school, a testament to the nurturing environment provided by the dedicated teachers and staff.
The curriculum at OKP is not only educational but also tailored to the individual needs and interests of each child. It's amazing to see my daughter's excitement as she learns through play, exploration, and hands-on activities.
Beyond academics, the emphasis on social-emotional development is truly commendable. My daughter has blossomed here, building friendships, gaining confidence, and developing important life skills that will serve her well now and will utilize in the years to come.
In summary, OKP is not just a place where children learn; it's a community where they thrive. We couldn't be happier with our decision to enroll our daughter here, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any parent seeking a nurturing, enriching, and trustworthy preschool experience!”

“This experience has been wonderful! Our daughter attended for three years and our son one. He'd run in without looking back. She was more hesitant, then couldn't stop talking about it. We moved to Port largely for this school and were not disappointed. The references were strong when we were deciding, and perhaps we'll chat if you're considering it. Many parents were educators (we're not), and we developed some close friendships. The name comes from "Project Spectrum," a research program that ran at Harvard under Howard Gardner and Mara Krechevsky. It's unrelated to the autism spectrum. The idea is that there are several types of intelligence (a "spectrum" of knowledge), and they can be cultivated in early childhood. My Spectrum School combines elements of this theory and the Reggio Emilia approach. It excels at translating theory into experiences. That's mostly because teachers care about kids, and kids aren't interested in Gardner. There's a commitment to longer-term themes (e.g., creativity, cognitive skills, STEAM), which informs curriculum. And they have a moment-by-moment approach: Teachers incorporate kids' interests and provide remarkable individual attention and differentiation. Class sizes are small enough to make that work. There's also some structure. Teachers stick to a routine for activities like arrival, lunch, playground, and departure---even if there can be considerable flexibility in between. Kids call adults by titles. Dr. D, Ms. Jennifer, and Mr. Jason became household names. The teachers are amazing, and it's hard to say enough good. Mr. Jason and Ms. Jennifer are bright, engaged, and passionate about the kids. They're also all-around wonderful people. Dr. D brings considerable experience with education theory and practice. Everyone had helpful insight at our conferences. They love talking about the kids. They were willing to reinforce things that we worked on at home, like empathy, imagination, or potty training. They will also tell it like it is: You'll hear something if your kid is in diapers at four or five. It is Long Island, after all.The facilities are large and thoughtfully designed. Mr. Jason teaches Pre-K students in one room. Ms. Jennifer and Dr. D have younger kids in another. There's a fair bit of crossover, where younger kids join the Pre-K students for some activities, parties, and play. Kids without younger siblings play eldest to the little ones, and likewise. We'll have fond memories.”
“As a mother, entrusting someone else with the care of your child is one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. It is even worse if your child has a disability with a severe speech delay. From the moment I first stepped into The Learning Center Academy at Oceanside, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace. The bright, cheerful classrooms, the smell of fresh art supplies, and the warm greetings from the staff instantly told me this was more than just a daycare.
Miss Kim who gave me the tour was phenomenal. She was patient and attentive to what I had to say about my son. When I told about his autistic diagnosis, she did not flinch. After 4 years on this journey , I am used to people losing their enthusiasm once I tell them that my baby is autistic. Miss Kim asked specific questions to help address Zac's communication and developmental needs without making me feel that my baby didn't belong.
The teachers and staff here are truly something special. My son's face lights up every morning when we pull into the parking lot, and that’s how I know he feels safe and loved here.
His classroom teacher Miss Aneeza is the sweetest. She truly bonded with us from day one. We have only had one incident since we started, and it was handled with such professionalism and care.
Every day, I receive updates, pictures, and little stories about his day—what he learned, the activities he enjoyed, what he ate, how much he napped and even the silly moments that make him laugh. I get updates both through the app and another verbal report at pick up.
The curriculum is engaging and creative, yet the environment is relaxed enough for children to explore and be themselves. I watch my son becoming more confident about exploring his environment everyday. That again tells me he feels safe and loved.
They serve a well balanced meal and 2 healthy snacks. My son does love to eat, but he can be picky. So I pack a backup up nut free lunch in case he doesn't eat what is served. His favorites are the whole grain pizza and whole grain pasta with sauce lunch.
What I love most is the way they embrace every child’s individuality. They celebrate diversity, encourage kindness, and teach values that go far beyond ABCs and 123s. My son is autistic with very limited verbal and social skills. The staff always greets him and speaks to him like they do with every child even when he doesn't respond. And when he does respond, they get so happy and they praise him for trying. Seeing their face when my little one gives a verbal respond tells me that they care about the same things I do. They encourage him to play with other kids, but they also allow him his own space to be alone.
If you are a parent searching for a place where your child will be loved, inspired, and supported every single day, I cannot recommend The Learning Experience in Oceanside enough.”
