I worked closely with Simon and Jack from Advanced Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry (40-59 College Point BLVD), in the renovation of our kitchen on the upper west side of Manhattan. They are distributors of Fabuwood kitchen cabinets based in NJ. Simon and Jack were both terrific and highly recommend them for any kitchen project.
We initially met with Simon at the showroom to go over the different cabinet styles, our limited space, and options. We listed our wants and needs and he was able to accommodate everything we wanted in the limited space. With the use of the computer, we were able to see a 3D rendering of the final kitchen design. His help did not stop there since we had several adjustments to make along the way once appliances and actual measurements were taken.
Jack went to our home to take the final measurements, identify obstacles and verify the design made sense. Both he and Simon are extremely knowledgeable, essential to any kitchen renovation.
The Fabuwood cabinets appear well made and there were enough options in the stock cabinets avoiding the need and expense of custom-made cabinets. They come standard with steel soft-close 6 way adjustable hinges, undermount soft-close drawer glides, dovetail drawer joints and plenty of options.
Kitchen renovation can be a daunting process. Simon and Jack are very responsible and were always available to answer our questions. They have the experience needed to identify problems, offer suggestions and come up with a good kitchen design.

FYI- for those seeking larger jobs - I requested an estimate for a detailed scope of work involving 2 bathroom renovations and a sand/polish wood floor. After paying $200 for measurements at the site visit in the city, I waited 2 weeks for an estimate and another week for revisions. They consistently came in 25-30% higher than other Manhattan based contractors with a non negotiable fee of $11,000 which included cleaning and insurance. Also Materials had to be from their store also.

We worked with Jack and Simon on our kitchen renovation earlier this year. It's been a very pleasant experience and we are very happy with the result. I go to Flushing a couple times a week and have always been fascinated by how many kitchen/bath/flooring shops are on that street. When the time came that we had to redo our little kitchen(things literally started to fall apart), I walked up and down college point blvd and did some window shopping. Advanced has easily the mostly professionally laid out show room, and the place is kept very nice and clean. Walked in and talked to them. The rest is history. Glad we had them do the job.

Compare with many other store located in flushing area, this store is more professional and helpful. They do have good customer service every time I went to the store. I bought many things from this store such as tiles, bathroom hardware and vanities. The do provide me detailed professional information about everything I need.

My wife and I checked out many places to purchase kitchen cabinets and then one day stumbled upon Advanced cabinetry. A gentleman by the name of Jack worked very patiently with us and explained plenty of details all around. He was fair in his pricing, and promised to meet our timing delivery deadline in which he persistently achieved.
