New to the neighborhood so decided to try the classic BEC from Alba’s. And it was disappointing. I truly believe it wasn’t the real cracked eggs but rather the pre-mixed one and to make it worse, it definitely was NOT 2 eggs. Thin layer of eggs with 2 bacon.
Never getting a sandwich from them again.

Ordered Meat Lovers sandwich with honey mustard on 6/13/24. Received today 3/9/2025. Upon opening the foil wrapper I was ecstatic that my order I placed finally was ready. I spread the toasted buns to find out they had put 3 gallons of mayo on it. I immediately was heart broken. I fed the sandwich to my dog and she let out a wolf like howl and barfed everywhere. She then began discharging liquid poop at an immense pace saying “bow wow, bow wow” which means “dad please make it stop” this place should be a comic book store, how many clowns does it take to make a sandwich? They spend all day doing it, and it takes a fiscal year for them to make one. My studio has now been classified as a vomit-torium where pets and people from near and far can come to puke. This is not good. When I first came to New York City as a young man with dreams and hopes of being a world class financier (which I am) even the bad days were bearable because I had a solid sandwich making bodega on my side. Key word had, the people of Kew Gardens need a solid bodega with accurate sand which making capacity with affordability . I will be taking all of my business down the block to Kew Deli and you should to if you an ounce of respect for yourself. They refuse to extend to me store credit, even though I run all the money in the world through their worthless doors. Should I mail in my order next time? Should I run a ad in the New York Times? Single white male seeking affordable sandwich, inquire below? All I’m saying is we aren’t reinventing the wheel, save the rocket science for SpaceX and Musk and read a book, preferably “how to make a sandwich for dummies”. Thank you for your time.
