Budweiser nearby all stores charge 2.50 + 10c if credit card, this guys 3+ 11c for Credit Card. Their pos screen is full scratched (probably intentionally) you cant see what you paid, you find out later that you screwed not a great business practice

For such a small space, this place packs a HUGE selection of beers! It's like a small convenience store that specializes in beer, many seasonal beers, as well as those less commonly found in grocery stores. If there's an odd beer you like that's hard to find, there's a good chance the beer cave has it, or if it's not in stock, they will usually order it for you.

i stopped inside beer cave shop to pick up a few lottery tickets and a bottle of diet coke and notice plenty of fridges filled with so many different bottles and cans of domestic and imported beer . i dont drink beer but the designs on the cans and bottles had me browsing a bit and while i was doing just that some frat dude ask the guy behind the counter hey boss you got vodka here . folks love beer and this shop along with cigs, snacks. lottery, etc, has plenty of it and thats why i love astoria .
