“Currently interning in Dream Center NYC and my experience has been nothing but positive and amazing. I felt blessed to have found an organization that cares so deeply for the community and providing many needs. This is an organization that meets the community face to face, creates relationships, and provide food boxes or supplies for whoever is in need. If you are interested in volunteering or interning or just needing some assistances or supplies please feel free to connect with us.”

“It's a gem in Queens this store. Quality items to purchase but at affordable prices. I found two modern living room chairs for under $200 in excellent condition.

If you are redoing your home decor or just setting up a new place stop by this store to get some incredible finds. Also, check their website for online shopping.

Staff was friendly and helpful too.”

“Our family enjoyed Easter at The Club, once again. The food and service was great, as usual. Everyone that works there are very pleasant. The room we were in is nicely decorated.”

“I would say that it is one of the best agencies in the city, the treatment, the enthusiasm, the empathy, those things that make the difference and more when dealing with grandparents.”

“I came across this charity organization last year and have been seeing how they help people. I saw they help many families in crisis and they do it in a very nice way. Without showing it off to the world. They ensure 100% of the funds go towards charity and keep nothing. That's one the of best things I love. Recently helped a Widow of a fallen officer ? with some donations.”

“My child recently completed the Serious Fun Musical Theater Summer Camp. In this camp, he was involved with all aspects of putting together an original musical theater production. He had a great time, and learned a lot while working with his fellow students and the wonderful teachers and staff. He couldn't be more proud of the musical theater production they all created together, and that families got to attend at the end of the program (the production was fantastic!)Thank you Serious Fun, COMPASS NYC and DYCD for providing such a quality program which keeps the children engaged, and allows them to express their creativity through acting, singing, dancing, writing, set and technical design and so much more.”

“I took my dog Mimi here for a dental cleaning. They were lovely and incredibly helpful, not to mention 1/3rd of the price another vet quoted me for the same procedure. They did the preop bloodwork, cleared her for anesthesia, and then took her the next week. They were very professional, and cared for her greatly. will be going back!”

“This agency has a great staff! The people in the Forest Hills location are so welcoming and helpful. They have so many different services to provide, and they are very organized as well. I've had an amazing experience with Mercy Drive!”

“Forest Hills Community Center is such an amazing place to visit . Everyone is eager to help you with everything you need. They are always smiling and trying to make it easier for you.
I enrolled here on the English 2 Work program . The program has options from beginning level to more advanced level of English.
The ABE classes are really helpful for the advanced students that can’t afford to pay this type of course in a private institution. I’m really grateful for being accepted in the program. I encourage everyone to take advantage of everything this program has to offer.
This kind of places are one of the things that makes New York City a place with lots of opportunities without any discrimination at all.”

“The workers/ volunteers are outstanding in their service! They are very nice & polite and there is always a good selection of pantry items. It's very worth the trip and the wait isn't that long.”

“Great thrift shop but unfortunately every time I come there’s no one working in the store. There’s always a sign that says “be back in a few minutes” & an hour later still no one. If u r open for business there should always be someone there. This is the second time & my reason for dropping a star. Otherwise this is a great thrift shop when someone is working in the store”

“I went to a job event for Samaritan Daytop Village and I was treated nicely and I appreciate the experience for all of the applicants. The staff was lovely and had a nice set up for the attendees of the job event. The building is very clean and supplied with hand sanitizer stations , bathrooms are nice. Plus I was hired the same day.”

“This place is run smoothly. I refuse to go to certain pantry, because some staff think that they can talk to you anyway they want to, and I am not having that. A lot of them like to see the unruly crowd, maybe they feel good about that. This place has law and order, not like the ones in my neighborhood that I don’t attend.”

“The ladies with the white bags on their waists do jump into the new bins, pull out what they consider gold, aka resellables, aka what they image other people want then put their scavenged wares into a shopping cart that lines the walls & covered with a blanket. Its end of times behavior. It’s animals crawling over each other for the crumb. There are arguments, some rough housing. It is easy to steal. Bring gloves, a shopping bag, & although most don’t wear masks, I recommend. There were plenty of nice blankets, handmade quilts, & lace table clothes when I went. It’s $2 something a pound for textiles”

“I spent two and a half months at Parker Jewish following a brutal double knee surgery that left me unable to walk and care for myself. Thanks to the incredible work of my Physical therapist Andy Patel and my Occupational therapist Rosie I was able to walk out on my two feet. I can't say enough good things about all the therapists who worked with me during my stay, they really saw me through the darkest point in my life.
The nurses, the receptionists, the house keepers, the cnas, food service, etc etc worked their butts off during my time there and were always kind and friendly.
I'm taking one star off because the food is atrocious.”
