“The line at the cashier is very long. If you are in a hurry, I don’t recommend visiting, as you might end up waiting for a long time.”

The experience at this place is awesome this is because everything there are made freshly daily. The service is fast and the atmosphere can be noisy with people baking or the machines operating.

This man was following me around Costco, stole food out of my cart, and was taking my pictures of me. The manager was so polite to make sure I was safe. He walked me to my car and put my groceries in my trunk for me. Thank you manager. I hope he doesn't come to your Costco to creep on other young girls again.

So this was my first underground Costco. I was walking from Forest Hills and was in a bit of funk so I decided this would be the perfect distraction as I had a bit of time to kill. This particular Costco is underneath a open area mall. It has a parking structure above it as well. You take the elevator down and it feels like you are on a ship rather than a typical Costco. Some of the areas are off by themselves and there are narrow corridors. Even the typical layout has to give way to the odd geography of this store. That being said it was stocked with what you would expect. There were a few local items I almost pulled the trigger on but the line to checkout was insanely long so I passed As I stated in my review of the the Mountain View location, we do have some rules to help keep our obsession under control: 1) NEVER EVER go in hungry. That 25 gallons of dill pickle chips is much easier to resist on a full stomach.... true story there. 2) Avoid the free samples. People seem to lose their minds with this stuff. They abandon carts with crying babies, block isles, etc all to get that tiny portion of hummus. I have been shoved aside by someone desperate to get a free piece of cheese. Honestly I have seen more dignity from actual starving people in a disaster zone but I digress. 3) Avoid the weekends like the plague. 4) See #1 5) Go often. Costco uses alot of psychology and the fear of missing out is one of them. Odd items you must have pop up then go never to return. I CAN'T MISS OUT AGGGGGGG 6) Know your codes: At costco any price ending in 0.97 means it has been marked down. Any price that is not a 0.99 or .97 such as say 0.49 means it has a manufacturers discount. and price with an * aka "The Death Star" on it means its done and will not be reordered so stock up. If it ends in a .00 or a 0.88 a manager has reduced the price at that location to clear it out. 7) When in an unfamiliar city head to the Costco. They always stock local items you can't find at yours (like two pounds of single origin Kona coffee for 30.00 at the Kilaua / Kona store etc.) and have cheap gas. (Same on Kauai)

Very crowded as always. The line is usually really long for customer service but this time, it is very short. Lots of things to buy but I wish they carry more baby items and other items I don't want to specify. The good thing is that they have a Chinese section dedicated to Chinese things. Because I'm Chinese and my mom is Chinese, we are both happy that they carry Chinese delicacy like birds nest and ginseng. There are green tea and other Chinese desserts and pastries that attract Chinese customers so that's a plus for Costco! I used to go to Costco 20 years ago and hell no do they have Chinese stuff until now. Hopefully they carry more Chinese and baby stuff so more people can shop there. The bad thing about Costco now is that they are strictly VISA only. No other credit card merchants allowed except VISA. So my VISA credit card didn't work and I had to resort to AMEX. Then the AMEX didn't work so then I had to use my VISA debit card like wtf. It was so damn inconvenient. But whatever as long as there is Chinese delicacy then I'm good.

I'm sure many people would agree that they have a love-hate relationship with this Costco. It's located in a good location being a quintessential part of Rego Center, where you can get almost all your shopping done and near the Queens Center Mall. The 'love' comes in with the convenience and being in such a demographically diverse area of NYC Queens, you find ethnic products that would otherwise not be available in other Costco locations (I.e. Middle Eastern, Latin, and Asian goods). However, the garage parking situation and the endless lines are a nightmare turned reality. Allot 30 min to 1 hour for parking and checkout.

Cheap price is the most attractive for this wholesale market. There are some food and stuff that don't sell in another market but honestly, I don't really find enjoyment of shopping here, long line with people killing each other, the slow register service counter at the front. The location that far from my home. I paid the membership fee this time because my cousins who visited wanted to buy stuff for their family. I also get $40 back in coupon to buy the stuff here but still don't have time or chance to go to Costco again.

RUDE STAFFS ESP THE FAT HISPANIC LADY WHO WEAR CONTACT LENSES!! First, We are Asian Family shopping today at costco with my husband and son. We haven't get the membership cuz this we're not typically shops here but instead we go to BJ's. We just moved here around Rego Park last month ago, and this would be our first time going here. We understand the rules that you have to have the membership unless you can't shop. We were there few hours before closing time and we decided to try to shop by using our friend membership card. Upon checking out this fat hispanic lady with colored contact lenses being rude and when we tried to pleased her can that if we cn use our friends card she just keep on repeating who is this? Who is this?(in the photo) where we actually said at the first place that we dont have the card yet and if she can let us shop. She put our stuff back to the cart very reckless and her face look like she owns the company. I felt like we were treated very poorly by this woman who just made only minimum wages and without education. We don't steal the items, we are willing to pay its just that this would b our first time to go here. I will never forget this day and this lady who doesn't hv degree and didn't study ethics thats why she acting like that. Shame on her! And COSTCO please at least hire those people who cares to help their consumers satisfaction.
