Worst ever. We moved out after one-month’s suffering from the noise of a construction site immediately by the side. The noise persisted from 6 am to 5 pm everyday, up to 50 db measured in the bedroom. The horn was so loud that it woke us up 6 am nearly every day. The mixer car was literally by the window downstairs producing low frequency noise for the whole day. We had to escape from this place everyday to find some peace.Feels like a leasing scam. The super and concierge know the construction noise but never informed us before moving in. The leasing agent Lolita showed us the apartment twice during off-hours when there’s no noise.Management is bad. Washer and driver is dirty and broken and is still not fixed for 3 weeks. They tried to show us another unit but didn’t inform the tenant currently living in the unit.Never consider this place.

I lived at crescent club for 8 enjoyable years. I made many lasting friends and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere of the building. My apartment was sunny and had great lighting with east and west exposures. The building amenities like the pool and fitness center added to a sense of community. Overall the building supers and porters were very accommodating whenever I had an issue (and there were a few maintenance issues). Most of the doorman were cheerful and friendly. I would certainly recommend Crescent Club - particularly the units on upper floors or those with large terraces. A good value for the right unit.

My family and I have been living in CC for almost 8 years, paying rent on time, even during the pandemic. Because of COVID-19 my husband had to close up his business and I was home taking care of out toddler. We reached out to the management asking them to give us a little break on rent, as we were really struggling. They turned us down immediately in a very rude manner. That was the last straw that broke the camel's back. For years we witnessed and lived through many health violations like rats running around the swimming pool area; constant issues with piping; freezing water in the swimming pool that is supposed to be heated. The parking garage costs a fortune but due to poor organization and management of the space it takes around 30 min to get your car ready. Several times a months packages go missing and so does dry cleaning. Though not all of them but some of the doormen in the building are often not present at their work station and there were a few incidents of theft. During this immensely difficult time for so many people I have witnessed so many acts of kindness and care from complete strangers. However none of that can be said about the Management of Crescent Club and their complete lack of respect and appreciation to their loyal tenants.

We moved here on a rent special. Got one month free. The location is amazing. It's one stop outside of Manhattan, you get to places quicker than if you lived 5 blocks away, for a far reduced rent. The area is not fully developed, it's still booming. It's still a bit gentrified, so the area looks more industrial. The food game isn't as strong here and when you grubhub, it comes from Astoria or closer to the water near LIC. The lobby is very nice. There's a fountain and chairs to wait for your Lyft or Uber. The doormen are very nice. Every one of them. They process the packages pretty quickly. Never had an issue. They showed up everyday during the Pandemic. They are an amazing crew. We lived on the North side and the elevator wasn't as busy. We never really waited for the elevator. The southside has the rooftop, so it's a bit busier, can't speak to that side. The gym and garage are downstairs. I didn't use the garage, but it leads to a side street and not onto Crescent. The gym is well air conditioned, which is nice when you're working out. I never really had to settle for the bikes, got a treadmill and the TV's worked with cable, so I'd pop on a game and do my light workouts, do some free weights and people would come and go, but the gym was small and not over utilized pre-covid. It was still closed when we left during the pandemic. The rooftop is nice. It has a pool table with decent sticks. Most of the time I went up there, I didn't see anyone. I probably went up there 5-10 times while we stayed there. Great views and it's mostly empty. The swimming pool is nice. It gets crowded on the weekends. It's nice to go in for a dip, but it's not a pool that you'll do laps in. We saw people lounging or using the grill. The view of the high rises was nice from the pool. Instagram worthy. We lived in a one bedroom on the Crescent Street side. The one thing I wish we had known was that it is loud. There is another building on the other side of Crescent and any honking, sirens, yelling by people on the streets would echo off the walls. Crescent also empties into the bridge, so it's a very busy street. The bedroom is pretty spacious. We had a queen size bed, two big dressers, a table, two small side dressers for the beds, and a mini-crib and there was plenty of space. The closet is a walk in, but it's a bit small, there's also one next to the bathroom. With the extra space, you could probably add a large wardrobe. If you are handy enough, could even split the bedroom into two small ones. The living room is very big, We had a dining table with leafs that opened up and still left a lot of room and the far end we used for couch and TV. The internet connection is Spectrum and Verizon, at our time there. We used Verizon and it was fast enough for what we did. It was pretty much plug and play. The Washer Dryer are Bosch. There's enough room on the sides to keep the laundry bottles in the closet. The door closes and there's a light inside, so the sound is kept to a minimum. It is a HE washer, so use the detergent accordingly. The bathroom has a LaCava sink. It was nice. Felt fancy. The bathtub is deep and big for a very relaxing salt or bubble bath. The bath tub fixtures allow for limiting how hot the water gets, it's kind of confusing at first, but it's kind of nice when you're in a hurry and don't want to mess with the water temp. The tub drain had to be cleaned out once while we were there for hair build up. The kitchen has a deep sink. So, enough room to put multiple dishes and pots and pans, which is helpful. No garbage disposer which I missed, but not a must. The dishwasher worked fine, but we didn't really use it, used it more for a dish rack. Ran it every few days if mildew built up. TIP: The stove top fan needs to be pulled out to be turned on. It slides out. We had to ask Hari and he's very responsive. Him and Ermin were very on top of things. The Juliet balcony is small, we never used it. The

The positive reviews give absolutely no detail on why they have a 5 star rating for this place. But I will give you all the detail you want, from the point of view of a tenant that lived there for four years. It felt like home. We'd been there for long enough that the thought of moving to another place didn't even come to our mind. We were comfortable in the space we had built during the 4 years of being there. But everything changed in exactly one night. That was the night we learned about the priorities of the management. Before that night, we had never been part of any sort of issue to have to involved them. What happened that night was unusual and scary; it started with the shattering noises of pots and pans being banged against each other. We opened our home's door to discover the sound is coming from our neighbor. I try to stay out of peoples' business, but I was concerned for the safety of whoever was on the opposing end of those shouts and screams. So we knocked!Door opens to angry man charging towards my brother. But luckily he was physically restrained by his roommate. "F*** YOU" was the only vocabulary used by this gentleman.Long story short: we recorded the whole incident. Then we went to inform the security of this situation taking place right next to our home. That's when the neighbors and us were faced to faced once more; this time in front of the security and the cameras. Again, the gentleman was restrained and pulled out by his roommate who was screaming, "STOP! They're going to call the cops!!!"We didn't call the cops. We decided to rely on the management of our home, where we had lived for 4 years with not even one issue in the past.I'll stop here and say; sure, the neighbors sucked. But it was our management's response to this event that really opened up our eyes.**** And this is what I want you to take away from this review ****While the management agrees that this circumstance was entirely out of our hands (this was sent to us via email), they ultimately ended the discussion with "it's out of our hands." Essentially telling us that they acknowledge the safety issues that are directly connected to our unit, but they choose to not get involved.I vividly remember: at that point, our home did not feel like a home anymore. It turned into this uncomfortable space we had to spend our days in, until our lease came to an end. Every time I wanted to leave the house, I'd be worried to run into a man charging at me, while screaming F you.I've lived in enough places to know that bad neighbors are sometimes part of it. But it didn't make any sense why the management wants to get rid of a us; the tenant that's been there for a long time with consistent record of on time payments, no prior issues, nothing. And then we checked the listing of the place that was once our home. That extra $500 a month on the rent.Oh well. At the end we did find a place that was so much nicer, and it honestly took a lot less time than I thought it would.(long version of story + videos available if you message me. The videos are insane! If you are thinking about moving into this building, I would be more than happy to jump on a call to go into more detail regarding everything.)

Awesome location, plenty of amenities (rooftop, pool, gym) and well priced. I’ve enjoyed living here and experiencing the ever growing LIC neighborhood.

Nice, quiet, well-maintained building. However there are quite a few issues to note under the surface.First, the doormen are not professionally dressed and literally won't ever open the door if you had a bag full of hands.Second, I had a big issue with the corrupt maintenance staff which basically broke into my apartment when I was not there as I was moving out, ate my food and smoked marijuana in my apartment. Fortunately I was able to work it out with management, otherwise I would've filed a report with the NYPD.Third, the value is just not there, for about 15% less you can get a building with a lot more amenities. Fourth, the garage below is leased out to a third-party company which will be ending their contract in 2018 and only doing valet for the hotel across the street. Good luck finding parking after that on this busy street! I would look for other amenity-rich buildings and use this as a very last resort.
