Spend the extra $40-$60 for another hotel. Nothing about this stay was good. The photos they show are not accurate at all and the negative reviews you read from everyone are spot on. The air in the whole hotel is stale smoke, the floor is sticky (everywhere including rooms), the bathrooms are not clean (hair/dirt from others), the beds are not queens they are doubles (which are smaller than full), the AC wall unit worked sometimes and thankfully the weekend we stayed it wasn't incredibly hot so it just made things alittle uncomfortable. There looked to be a homeless man laying on the bench inside of "lobby" when we checked out. The one positive thing about this place is there is a 7-11 right around the corner and the owners are amazing. I hope you listen to this review and find another place to enjoy your trip to an amazing city!

This is the most filthy disgusting hotel I have ever been to. The outside is dirty, the hallways are dirty and the rooms are dirty. I was traveling for business and I have stayed in many NYC hotels and this is by far the dirtiest hotel I have ever been in. It is dirtier than any hotel I have ever been in with the exception of my travels to India. I made the decision to leave the hotel because it was uninhabitable. Furthermore, as I was checking for bedbugs, I cut myself on the bed frame because the appropriate guard was missing from the metal frame and that cut required medical attention. This hotel is also very loud as it is immediately next to the elevated train. The mattresses do not have bed bug covers. The mattresses are cheap spring mattress and very uncomfortable. The first room contained a broken bed frame and so I had the opportunity to go to another room which was equally as filthy, with an uncomfortable mattress. They have a half ironing board, however, I would not be able to iron my clothes without having them become dirty as the surfaces and floor in the room were so dirty. I highly recommend staying elsewhere if you are traveling for business, leisure or with children.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, staff made sure to clean my room everyday and if I declined service, they still asked if I wanted towels exchanges. Parking is just irritating because it's only about 10 parking spots. Little breakfast to go packs were cool.

Currently here and unable to sleep. My room smells like urine, the sheets are incredibly rough and make my skin itch, the walls and doors are so thin that anytime someone walks by or opens their door I think they’re coming into my room. When I arrived they sent me to the wrong room it was still dirty and I had an unmade bed and hair in the bed. It’s right next to the train tracks and heavy traffic. Came here bc it was the cheapest option on short notice and seriously regretting it.

Location good, but parking VERY limited roughly only 10 spots. Says there’s free continental breakfast but there was nothing but coffee. Our toilet didn’t work in our room so we had to keep using the community one in the lobby we told them about our toilet 2 times prior. Tv channels are terrible. Trash cans tiny, no microwave. The key card was giving slot of issues not working so we had to get a new one. Our sheets had a few long blank hairs on them that were not ours, which makes me think they didn’t clean the sheets, they definitely had a bed bug problem at one point because I found some bed bug stains on the sheets no bugs though. Blanket had cigarette burn holes. Get what you pay for on New Years Eve though I guess. Probably won’t ever come here again.

This place need an upgrade really bad. Worse hotel I ever been to.. the mattress in room 119 is horrible, it sinks in the middle. Which makes it very uncomfortable. The bathroom is beyond terrible, the shower was broken. The towel is very small.. The door have a crack when closed. Take my advice don't waste your money and go here.. You better off sleeping in your car .

If i could give this hotel a 0 i would…. Please ignore those reviews saying that to hotel is anything other than disgusting and does not at all match the posted online pictures. I was In my hotel for a total of five minutes before i decided I could not stay there. There was someone’s left over hair on the bed, crumbs on the bed, computer chair was broken; the door was even chipped. To make everything better the Air conditioner also didn’t work and the bathroom had water stains everywhere. I’m literally talking to my lawyer because i was still charged for the nights i did not stay there l! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere

The heating/air conditioning system did not work. They assured me it would be fixed as both nights the temp got to 77 deg. Never resolved. Bathroom fan didn’t work, they fixed it but left a huge mess all over the floor, tub, toilet and our personal belongings.Waited four days to hear back from the General Manager finally called and had ZERO satisfaction from this man.Oh and the “Free Breakfast”, comical. Consisted of a nut bar, little cookie packages and roll w/choc. inside.I would NOT recommend this location!

When you walk in and you see a front-desk behind “bulletproof glass” … that’s not a good sign.Elevator dirty, sticky floors, the room’s door barely holding after serious banging. I entered the room and still with my mask and coat on, the “closet” pole to hold the hangers fell off completely. The room was tiny. Noisy heater-ac unit.Bathroom dirty, also with sticky marks on the floor … don’t know if it was pee or old soap, but WHO CARES.I was so aware of all of these before going to bed, that I couldn’t rest. Thinking of course of possible bedbugs, or who knows what else. So, overall … THE WORST EXPERIENCE in a hotel in the NY area.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!!Definitely a disappointment..first of all I got sent to to the basement.. that’s where the cleaning supply room is. It smelled horrible, mixture of cigarettes and bleach. A super small room, you can hear the chaos from outside. The curtains don’t cover the entire window so the light comes in a lot.I got moved to the the 4th floor. Oh and I forgot to mention the elevator didn’t work.I thought things were going to get better and nope!Same smell, can still hear the noise from the outside. The freaking door didn’t close all the way in a lot of light was coming in. The toilet wasn’t flushing. They forgot to put a sign next to the elevator n ppl kept using it. The doors were getting stuck and kept opening and closing for a long time.I went on a vacation to enjoy the city and to relax in the hotel. I definitely had 4 sleepless nights. I rest better at home with 2 small kids and a annoying dog.

I stayed here during covid and years before covid. It's worth it staying during the weekdays because it's a great price. Clean rooms and decent price. Comfortable bed for the price. It's expensive on the weekends. But I recommend this place. No bed bugs, decent service. There's not much food around other than 7-11 around at night time. But definently a recommended place if in long island city.

By far one of the worst places I have ever stayed, was put in a room where the AC did not work, and next to the elevator that would stay open all hours of the night, the only decent part of the stay was the bed, but even that was so so, oh and the tv was horrible, burn holes in the blanket! By far the worst experience!! Stay far far away! Wyndham should be ashamed having this hotel as part of it's roster! Choose another hotel! Don't waste your money on this place!!!

We came to the hotel lately in the afternoon only to find that its closed (no longer a hotel), but a shelter. After that cold shower we had to find a new hotel in a city we have never been before late in the evening. Never happend before and this is the only city you don't want to walk around with lugagges in the night time.

We walked into this hotel to register and there were ants crawling over the counter of the check in. We registered and went into the elevator. It was filthy. We decided not to even go to our room and went downstairs and got a full refund before going somewhere else. While we were waiting for an Uber outside we saw a sign that said smoking area. We don't smoke but there were literally hundreds of cigarette butts all over a large planter. The manager wasn't too friendly either. No hospitality whatsoever. If you are considering this hotel run screaming. There are so many better places to stay in this area.

The lobby was basically non-existent and looked like a movie theater entrance. The room was small but sufficient. We couldn't figure out how the shower worked. The air conditioner got loud periodically and woke us up at least once. The microwave was on the floor. The t.v. was very low res. The walls were paper thin. At around 8:30 AM housekeeping started talking obnoxiously loud as they went through the rooms and kept us up. It sounded like they were yelling down the hallway at each other. I wouldn't come back here, but for one night it was adequate.
