I normally stay in NJ because of the price, but needed to be on the other side of Manhattan. This hotel was all around the best for its price, location, staff, and stay. Our carpet was damp when we entered but realized they had just shampooed it, which made it smell great. The room was super clean. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. It's set in a quiet and safe neighborhood with plenty of free parking in the area if you don't want to pay valet. It's next to the highway, but still very quiet at night. Slept so well. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.
Rooms: Super clean room; freshly shampooed carpet; smelled great!
Safety: Quiet and safe neighborhood. Schools near by.
Food and drinks: Convenient stores close by; walking distance, but they also sell snacks and drinks in the lobby.

Quaint hotel close to many good restaurants and stores. Clean rooms, nice atmosphere. Comfortable bed. Definitely worth the money. Our second time staying here ..will be back in June and July for weddings.

Good location, you just pay $40 for parking. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. There isn’t a lot of room but for a short stay it’s worth it.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was rude because i ask him for parking and he told me that their parking lots was full and that we would have to park on the street at 11 pm at night and he was absolutely very rude like if he was the one who was gonna park the car.

Room was comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom. Room was a little smaller in size than usual. Breakfast was adequate however coffee, fruit, and refrigerated items were not available outside of breakfast hours which is not the norm. Staff was helpful and courteous.
Nearby activities: Borders gas station on one side and Courtyard on the other.
Walkability: Stores on the opposite side of the long island expressway

Honestly it’s a solid Hotel Experience I loved the location because I was very close to a great friend of mine. Damn near walking distance on a good day! But it’s solid Service HUGE shoutout to Tony that guy is amazing and took care of me my mom & siblings. My boy Tony. Room was clean and well kept. Breakfast options were ok I wish there were more fruit options & healthier choices but, what you’re paying for? Not a bad experience

I have been staying at Marriot for quite some time and so far this is the worst one. The story begins with finding the hotel, I called the hotel about the location since google took me to a hospital when typed in the address given in the confirmation email from the booking. The guy answered the call sounded high and said just google it. Any way I finally found the hotel at 2 am and checked in so that I can sleep. Chapter 2. The key card was not not working and I went down to the lobby and took me to a different room where he made sure the room opens with the key card. That was appreciated but I had to go down to park my car and I came back to see the room doesnt open with the key card again . Lucky for me that my mom was inside already and saved me my travel to the lobby again at 3 am. Chapter 3: toilet is stuck and doesnt flushes away. Where the hell I checked in to !!!!!!!! Hell of a stay

The room heat was broken. Maintenance came, and he looked at it for 10 minutes. He didn't lay a hand on the heater but announced that he couldn't do anything. The front desk would not let us switch rooms.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for the Stevie Nicks concert, and it was phenomenal! The room was clean (especially the bathroom), and the front desk employee, I believe his name started with a T was very friendly and even called us 30 minutes into our check in to make sure everything was okay!
