Each item in this magical place has been well thought out so the only dilemma is perhaps choosing only one item because your bound to pick something up for yourself as well. “Eclectic mix of little gifts, plants, candles, jewelry, accessories and the like. My favorites were the mini air plants and clay pots. Adorable! Fun to browse and see what treasures await in each corner. My budget was modest so I couldn’t buy much but what I did purchase was precious and the recipient loved it! They offer gift cards to purchase for someone who prefers to choose their own stash I’ll be returning with my kids who will surely love it.”

“Lovely shop with so many kids toys, especially a wide selection of Melissa & Doug products !! I was so happy to find so many Poke-A-Dot books here as well as Melissa & Doug place mats and stickers and drawing pads. Aside from toys they also have some gift items such as picture frames and figurines. The store is also open 7 days a week! I will definitely be returning again!”

“Yoyoso, a Chinese retail chain, recently opened a new location in Astoria this past week. This store reminds me of Daiso, another Asian retail chain, as they offer very similar stuff and at the pretty much the same price point.This location is conveniently located along Steinway Street near the R train. Inside Yoyoso, I found home accessories, bags, stationery, beauty products, toys, novelty items, Asian cosmetics, and Asian snacks. I thought the prices were quite reasonable and I found myself reaching for many items (that I didn’t need) because of it. I spent the most time in the snack aisles and found snacks that I was unfamiliar with. I also liked that the store is brightly lit with a minimalist décor which perfectly highlighted the products. This is a nice little addition to the neighborhood and hoping they do well.”

“This place is a 99 cent superstore. I could find virtually everything here. I really came to get some travel sized containers and they have a nice selection. What they don't have is a travel toothbrush set, one of the things that I was looking for. Despite this, they have a large selection of organization containers, glass and plastic. You'll be able to buy common items here.”

“Had a very cruddy time trying to pick up my Valentine's Day gift for self and didn't even get the custom card I had for it. The place was packed and apparently you have to commit an exact precise time for pickups or you totally get ignored. Considering I was on a time crunch, this location isn't particularly convenient to a subway and the store itself is minuscule, I was definitely not pleased with my experience and it took days to get anyone on the phone who cared or seemed concerned about this.However, my persistence paid off and I got in touch with a very nice female staff member who made things right even throwing in some pieces of dipped fruit I hadn't had before. This definitely felt better for me so when I'm thinking of self gifts for Valentine's Day I won't totally discount this location though I expect to see my cards from my cats in the future.”

“After exhausting all ideas, what to get someone after getting invited to a birthday party two days before, I originally wanted to get flowers but came across the Happy Birthday Cake and Confetti Dipped Fruits Bundle It also came with a Happy Birthday Ballon.I placed my order online to pick it up 6pm which is the latest you can pick up your item.That day was foggy and rainy. On my way to pick it up there was some traffic. I got there about 6:10 pmThe associate in the store called me to remind me my item was ready for pick up. I told her I was a couple of minutes away.When I went inside the store to get my items because of the rain outside, she placed a clear white bag over the original bag with the item so it did not get wet.The birthday girl absolutely loves the presentation of the dipped fruits and the mini cake. The chocolate cake was delectable. Good last minute, buy.”

“Needed one of their amazing fruit dipped in chocolate platters same day for my Cousin recovering from surgery. Drove around and struck out at 2 other locations.Thankfully the location at 164th St in Fresh Meadows Queens came to the rescue in the clutch!I won’t waste gas and time shuffling around town anymore trying to find an open location or fresh fruits. They’ve got my business. The best part was the delicious, succulent fresh fruit basket brought a smile to my cousin’s face and a yummy treat for her tummy. Thanks Fresh Meadows location. You guys rock!”

“The presentation and quality of cake/cupcakes were outstanding. They called day of delivery to advise that they were out of helium so they couldn’t send balloons which was a disappointment but the sent a teddy bear as a replacement & it was a hit with my daughter. Everyone loved it!”
