An excellent airport hotel for a one night stay. The room was comfy, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was very good (a typical Hampton Inn spread!)The area appears safe and quiet, although there isn't much in the way of restaurants or bars nearbyBe sure to plan for the free hotel shuttle pickup and drop off. The shuttle bus picks up from the Federal Circle Airtrain station, and was on time (every 30 mins) when I arrived at 8:20pm. The journey to the hotel took 10 mins. However, the return journey in the morning visits all terminals, which is convenient in theory, but it took 40 mins due to traffic.

Good hotel they have 24 hours Shuttle service to JFK airport every half an hour. Good breakfast good rooms. 10 mins from airport. If you have luggage then Uber will be better and fast and less of effort. For Hotel Shuttle you have to drag your luggage to the Air train point which is on 2nd floor and consult a train which air train to catch. It’s a bit crowded and takes 10-15 mins travel to reach the station where you get off and then go out to locate the Shuttle. If your flight is late then hardly any person to ask. But Hotel to airport is very convenient

Let me 1sr start by saying I am a Hilton Diamond Elite member so I have stayed at 100s of different Hilton properties. This one was by far the worse I have been in, the main room area was OK fairly clean and not too much to complain about for a Hampton. The bathroom was a different story mold growing around the tub, wall paper falling off the wall, gross tile. This room should have never been given out it really just makes the chain look like they don’t care about people’s experience at their property.

Super close in walking distance to Wendy’s, 7 eleven, and other stores. Bathroom needed renovation, but there was fridge so that was a plus Breakfast was also included, as well as shuttles running to the airport every 30 minutes. Receptionists were really friendly and helpful. Excellent service :)

Very nice breakfast. The management should speak to the barman Andy as he was telling all his customers that he had to buy all the wine glasses himself and other items and his wife was giving out to him that he shouldn't have to out of his own money. Wake up management and speak to your staff before you lose them and give Andy back his money. The bus drivers were very helpful also.Rooms: Rooms could do with a makeover. I enjoyed my stay.

Dated but fine room. Booked this hotel mainly for the proximity to the airport and its shuttle. Shuttle fit only 2 groups and left 4 groups needing to purchase uber/lyfts. Only runs every hour which would have made us miss our flight. You would be better off staying at a hotel with a better shuttle or near a train.

A very average and somewhat disappointing airport hotelA very conveniently located hotel for those who have flight transfers, etc. It was very overpriced however, you get the very bare minimum of what a hotel offers.A dated room, with zero thrills.A small underwhelming bar/restaurant which felt dirty and cramped and very limited overcrowded breakfast facilities.1 or 2 of the staff members were friendly and helpful but this was marred by the fact that some of the staff were bordering on rude. I’d only recommend here if you had very little choice.

Wasn't sure what to expect based on reviews but we were pleasantly suprised. Our check-in was speedy and pleasant. The room was clean, shower pressure good, bed surprisingly comfy; no qualms. Breakfast was typical with eggs, sausage, potatoes, waffles, ect. With construction -not sure what it is like otherwise- take the AirTran to Federal Circle. The shuttle is purple. We called for shuttle info and front desk was very helpful! Shuttle was there quickly, both ways; the whole process was efficient. I included a pic of the schedule, hope it helps! Would definitely stay again however it was a bit out of our price point.

WROST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! My family and I booked three rooms. From the time we checked into the hotel there were problems !!! The toilets have been back up since the time we checked in. The room door you had to slam to close shut. I went down to the front desk to see if there was anything the person at the front desk could do and he just started at me without responding and told me he could give me a plunger to do it myself. I asked him as a paying customer why would I do that and his response was we both have toilets you know how to plunge one. This is the rudest service that I have ever have !! When asked to speak to a manager her told me that I would have to wait until the morning and sleep with the toilet stopped up this is simply the rudest most unprofessional service ever and to ally someone to work at your establishment under these circumstances is absolutely god awful !!! I never write bad reviews even when pour service is provided but this was beyond terrible!! The guy name is Jean.

Slightly below average hotel. Rooms are not very clean. In our room ketchup was smeard on the table and clumps of hair was on the floor by the bathroom door. Restaurant has very over priced and serves limited items. Ceasars salad which is practically served as a container filled with romaine lettuce with dressing and croutons on the side priced at $12.00. At $350 per room they could do better...

Given the reputation of JFK airport-area hotels, the Hampton Inn NY-JFK was, beyond the price, a pleasant surprise. The hotel was very clean and it felt safe. The front desk person was helpful and the shuttle drivers were great. The 24/7 shuttle worked well. It is a bit of a hassle to get to the shuttle pickup area if you arriving at the airport -- you have to take the AirTrain to Federal Circle. Going to the airport the shuttle drops you off at your terminal. Would definitely stay there again, although it is a bit pricey, especially for one person.

The hotel is good, close to the airport. It has shuttle service to the airport every half hour. It serves a modest American breakfast and various snacks. They have a contact number. We call them and they answer the Hilton group. We ask them about the car transporting us with our reservation number. They say the Hilton car...it's not like that. I have attached pictures of the vehicle transporting you.

Nice, clean, decent breakfast, courteous staff, shuttle to JFK, & reasonable prices. The bed was very comfortable with soft bedding. What more could I ask for in a Hampton Inn? Thanks for a nice stay

Stayed the night before heading overseas. Nice little bar with drinks and light apps. Rooms were good. Comfortable. Bed too... steamy hot shower.. cool AC.. Very convenient to JFK obviously and ontume shuttle service on the half hour during busy parts of morning. Day. Hourly otherwise. We'd stay here again. Try to get a room away from elevators.. like anywhere. It was a packed house the night we stayed. Kept the AC fan on . Drowned out some noise. Wasn't bad.. this rating is based on what this hotel is meant to be. It's not made for luxury. It's made for a comfy stay around your flights.

A basic hotel near JFK, ok for those who need to crash after overseas trips and connecting elsewhere, like the west coast. Breakfast looked adequate and is included. Good shuttle service to and from the hotel. Be aware that you have to get to the federal plaza stop on the air train to get the shuttle to the hotel, leaving the hotel they can and do drop you at the terminal of your choice.
