THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! NEVER GAVE US BACK OUR REFUND A YEAR TO THIS DAY! STAY AWAY! It was unclean, smelly, and the guy at the front desk REFUSED to help us. We wanted a refund after we checked in because they sent us to a preoccupied room and then a SUPER filthy room after that! After back and fourth emails and phone calls they STILL NEVER gave us our refund of 526.82. This is after we paid the fee to cancel btw! Stay FAR AWAY! DONT DO IT!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL, THIS IS A SHELTER AND THEY ARE STEALING BECAUSE THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY AFTER THEY CANCEL ON YOU… I had a reservation a month ahead of my trip to NY, the day before they cancelled the reservation because apparently this location has been a shelter for long time. Has been a month since this issue happened and no refund has been issued, no one gives an answer. They are literally stealing your money. The keep on accepting reservations and not issuing refunds for your booking.

This place is ridiculous, don’t even know where to start…… one they steal your money when your flights are delayed, no phone to call and speak with a human, they don’t care if you travels across the country with no where to stay after you email them and try calling a zillion times. The place is dirty and nothing as the picture relate it to be. What ever you do save your self the trouble and never book here. Over all rate this place a zero, lower if I could.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I booked it for 7 months out and after I booked it, I seen all the bad reviews, so I requested to cancel my reservation and they canceled it, but charged me a cancellation fee of the entire stay and will not give me my money back!! They charged me $700 to cancel my reservation!!! The owners or whoever is in charge of this hotel are thieves!! I have been calling and emailing for a month straight now with no response.

I have a prepaid reservation for nearly $700 and the cancelled my trip for no reason. I got a random email saying my reservation was cancelled. No one at the customer service center could tell me why or how to get my money back. I already gave paid money for other travel plans in NYC. This is very frustrating. Beware of this shady hotel and Do NOT prepay!

DO NOT BOOK! PROPERTY IS CLOSED! THEY ARE STILL ACCEPTING BOOKINGS THOUGH!I booked this hotel for 7 nights as this was supposed to be closer to Laguardia. I was supposed to travel from Asia. Tried to call the property to confirm my booking and request an early check-in. The property cancelled my booking WITHOUT INFORMING ME! THE PROPERTY HAS CLOSED DOWN! Imagine booking a stay and finding out that it's cancelled on the day you are supposed to check-in. DO NOT TRUST WYNDHAM HOTELS - THEY HAVENT BEEN OF ANY HELP IN SECURING A REFUND AND HAVE SHRUGGED OFF ANY RESPONSIBILTY!It's funny that when I was trying reconcile all this information (after a 15 hour travel), Wyndham was trying to sell me their rewards program!

One of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in a hotel. The question shouldnt be how clean the room is, but how disgusting. I hope they are going to improve this part because otherwise the hotel could be a value-for-money place to stay and reasonably close to Manhattan. For some reason they do not offer breakfast even if they say so on the site. They decided so, but kept it a secret from the customers..... We left two days before our scheduled check-out because we just couldnt spend another night in that room. I am still very frastrated about the fact they do not respect someones health and hygiene. I might not have the money to stay in Times Square, but I demand a descent room to get some rest for $150 per night.

Absolutely horrific! Booked a room a month before a visit to NYC. On the Wyndham website. I arrived to signs being posted stating “hotel closed due to an emergency”. The “emergency” appears to be that this hotel is being used as some sort of migrant/homeless shelter! Nobody at the front desk. Two clueless contract security guards with zero answers. I had to scramble and find some other place to stay. I never received any notice about it via email. I did prepay when I booked it and am currently disputing the charge for a service I never received. I never would guessed a major hotel chain would lend their name to this nonsense. Doesn’t even deserve the single star but it’s required to post this review. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! I booked here to save money since staying in New York is expensive. But if I were to do this again, I'd be willing to fork up the extra hundreds of dollars to stay somewhere else. I booked two nights (Friday and Saturday) through Hotwire and paid upfront for a discount. I was arriving on a red eye flight since I didn't have any other option, so even though I booked Friday to Saturday, I would not arrive until 8am Saturday. When I arrived, I was told that my booking had been canceled and I would NOT get a refund. Apparently they had some "policy" where if you don't check in between 3pm on the first day (Friday) and 7am on the second day (Saturday), your booking is automatically canceled. Even if you pay upfront (which was $345 for two nights). The front desk person told me that if I wanted a room, I'd need to fork up another $300 for one night. I asked to see where it was written in the policies since all I saw in the booking was that check in was after 3pm Friday, and they refused to point me to anywhere it was written, but instead just kept insisting that was the policy. After arguing for a long time and arguing with Hotwire support (which you should also never trust), they eventually gave us the room from our original booking as a "courtesy" and told me that they just wanted me to "go through the process" as a lesson. I finally get to the room, and someone had cut the lamp wire so that there was no light in the room except for one by the door and the bathroom. In addition, the sheets, pillows, and towels were all stained, and there was a hole in the bedsheet. The window was foggy and cracked. I get that it's not a 5 star hotel so I should have lower expectations, and generally, a room condition like this would have been fine with me as I've stayed at some pretty dingy places. But I am not ok with the hotel trying to scam $645 out of me.

Never ever book this hotel. I got the worse experience in my life. Totally unprofessional staff, not accessible via phone to anyone from the hotel.I booked this hotel via Wyndham apps using my Wyndham rewards points few months back. On the early morning of my check in day, I received an email that my reservation was cancelled due to invalid CC which was wrong as this was a valid CC from Wyndham and addition to it, I used my points, not CC at all. I tried to call the hotel more that 20 times, it went to voice mail which was full, was not accepting any new message. As as result of it, I had to face a difficult time with my family to find a place to stay as it was the last minute decision taken by the hotel by the manager/staff on the day of my check in.So, please think twice before you make any reservation to stay at this place.

They canceled the bookings so they could house all the illegal immigrants with our tax dollars and wanted to hide it from the publicYesterday I arrived for my vacation and saw a notice on the door. "Closed due to emergency" they had a very aggressive security woman who physically pushed people out and was louder than a gorilla in heat. As I walked in she shouted "get out, you don't belong here, mmmm mmmmm nope" I told her I have a reservation for a week here. This is where she got louder and started to physically push. I pulled out the documents and she said to go talk to the guy at the counter. The guy was polite and said that they sent notices and refunds of which I or the other couple did not receive. He said sorry but we are closed and you have to find another hotel. I told him, no worries, can I use your bathroom first. He directed me the way until the gorilla in heat started yelling and pushing with her "mmmm mmmm mmmmm no you won't." Even after she saw I got permission. Later found out that this hotel cancelled all reservations and didn't notify anyone. They kept the money which I am still trying to get back through corporate. So not stay here or book here EVER.

This is located close proximity to some shopping area but the owner always advertises free breakfast although it's never available. The concierge person are nice but the place needs to be more tidy and maintained better

So I brought my daughter to NY for a concert, we made a reservation a month ago. After we arrived we saw some signs with “the hotel is closed due to an emergency” , after making some questions to the people around, they told us that the hotel is now a shelter for refugies, I do not have a issue with that, the problem is that they didn’t send us any communication about this matter. Do you know how difficult is to find a hotel available the same day when there is a big concert in the city?? Shame to the owner of this hotel. Of course, NOT RECOMMENDED.

I honestly feel like I paid way too much for this hotel room. The room clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. It was however one of the most affordable options the week I visited, unless you were to go to a hostel. It is however right next to the train which leads straight to Manhattan.
