I was hesitant to bring my car to this place ,reading some bad reviews, but it was Saturday and I needed a repair. I went there and they explain exactly what was wrong with my car. They fixed it, they did took a little time, although they offered for me to wait inside the office, but honestly is a repair shop I can't expect it to be spotless clean so I went to have lunch down the block while they fix it. The mechanic took my car for a ride to make sure that noise was gone and it was good to go. The owner came out to make sure I was happy with the job, he has a funny way of saying things but I'm Italian and I know how old Italians talk, I have nothing else to say about this shop then good things, I don't know them personally, I was not recommended I just happen to be in need of a repair on a Saturday when I know it's hard to find open shops. I don't know if they're the same mechanics as before but they were good to me. I will recommend them for sure!

Great service! I took my car to two different other repair shops and they could not fix it. I took it to Lou Cal and they were able to do it in a timely manner. Very happy customer here! ?

I had read some negative reviews of this service, but I had an emergency. I had banged into something and had damage to one of my tires and tire frames.One of the mechanics, Nick, was fabulous. I needed several parts and he got them all pretty quickly and fixed my car. He even dove it around the block several times to see if the wheel alignment was fine.As a matter of fact, he had heard a sound that I was hearing for months and never got it fixed. He knew what it was and fixed it without a chargeWe all know that mechanics are expensive and this was no different, but he was nice and pilot and knew what he was talking about and that's what I care about most

Go here if you want to get scammed. They ruined my car even more and I ended up fixing it with someone else. They even tried charging me even though they messed up my car battery.

Very nice mechanics and open Saturdays a plus !!Shop has a snack shop and waiting area. Owner friendly and courteous.

Gas station attendant damaged the fueling port door after tripping and ripped it off. Manager/Owner refuses reimbursement and claims it was already damaged. Then he offers to repair it for free with glue. If he's not responsible, why even offer to repair? Claims he's been in the business for 34 years and the way to fix this is to just glue it on. In reality, water ingress and the freeze thaw cycles during the winter will cause the panel to fall off again. The fact that he doesn't know this shows what kind of mechanic he really is and how meaningless those 34 years are as any mechanic worth their salt will know this. He was incapable of understanding why I was unwilling to take his "Free Repair". Refuses to pay to properly repair. Ended up filing directly with his insurance. I wouldn't bother going here ever. Doesn't even have the moral decency to accept that he made a mistake.
