Not to low cost. Took my dog here for a quote for a tumor on, and was quoted way higher than the regular vet. It's really sad that's there isn't really a place in Queens that can help people with their animals for low cost or really helps with assistance.

Updated.Don’t give “this doctor” your animals. They don’t allow you to visit your pets even when you’re standing near his house. That’s the name of the hospital - it’s a private home. I heard he doesn’t even have a veterinarian’s license, he practiced law, I don’t know how the state allowed it him for work. It’s a pity that I read the recommendations on the Internet, otherwise I wouldn’t have given him my cat. The man doesn’t know how to communicate with people, he’s nervous and rude. He treats people without respect. He threw our cat down the stairs to us just because we asked why you not removed the fluid from the body. Imagine the picture: I come with my daughter to pick up a dead cat (after 5 days of IV drip) and in front of my daughter’s eyes he simply throws the cat down the stairs for us, taking the pad, shouting that it’s my bedding!!!We gave him a clean cat and took him back in a terrible state with dirty paws from the sand lying on a dirty pillow. My daughter began to cry, what are you doing??? he turned around and said: did you come to pick up the cat or did you come to complain? The catheter in his paw was never changed in 5 days!! !He fed cat from a syringe, although another clinic said only through a feeding tube. He didn’t even see that the cat was yellow in skin and demanded fresh tests on the third day of his stay in his “hospital”!!! This is terrible, I just have no words. Two vets diagnosed my cat with pancreatitis and je needed IV fluids asap i couldnt find any vet around to do it promptly so my friend recommended me that cruel place .Its very sad we Give him a clean and alive cat who even ate on his own and took home dirty and dead. And thrown out of the stairs of the house. It’s good that I managed to catch the cat in my hands. This is not a doctor. This is a monster. It’s better to overpay but in a place where you and the animals will be treated professionally. Please ,avoid this spot .Right,he might help some animals if they lucky out of 20 animals 17 die and this is not a place you want to bring your pet!!!!!P.s: garo called me at 11:23 amand we were on the phone until 11:34am he said the cat doesn’t eat well and has gas, but yesterday he pooped well twice and, in principle, you can pick him up on Monday with the medicine that I will give. We were happy that the cat would finally come home soon (it was Saturday). But suddenly he called back in less than half an hour to tell us that the cat had died. When we was asking him WHY?????his answer was :hehe,it happens!!!!! What happened between 11:34 am and 12:12 pm???? If someone had seen the condition of the catheter when we took the cat off his paw, a professional doctor would have understood everything. And it doesn’t matter what he died from!!! the important thing is that the service was terrible!!!! And we did everything we could on our own, spending thousands of dollars to save our domestic cat, he lived with us for almost 4 years since we rescued him from the park!!!!Responded: Verg clinic confirmed no liver damage , no organs are affected, the blood clotting test was good.. The doctor noticed the fluid in his body she sent detailed information to another doctor description of the cat’s entire body i printed out too. We have a video of a cat sitting in front of a mobile car and eating a can, we have a video of a cat absolutely cheerful and communicating to a doctor, we have a video of a catheter and in what condition we took the (dirty) cat from the “clinic” “Are you going to judge me for a dead cat? Judge your conscience. And we brought you a cat right after emergency overnight room.He still was eating.About catheter:An IV catheter should not be kept in place for more than 72 hours. IV fluids only provide hydration and electrolytes. They do not take the place of food. If the cat is not eating it needs an alternate source of nutrition, either through a nasogastric tube, a peg tube or TPN through a central line. The Verg mentioned only feeding tube as she know cat with no proper nutrition will have a liver failure.

This review is regarding our pet sunny who tragically passed away in the hands of this unprofessional business! Just look up his name he has plenty of lawsuits! Lack of communication, unprofessionalism, disrespect, and lack of care killer Sunny. Sunny was syringe fed but has barely eaten on his own in a few days we decided to take him to VERG. The vet at verg said he is NOT a dying cat, and he NEEDS to be tube fed because syringe feeding will not be enough and put on IV fluids. Garo barely communicated with us, and when he did it felt aggressive, and insulting. He never sent us pictures of Sunny, we weren’t even allowed to go see him. We would’ve taken him out of this place if we had clear communication from this place regarding our cat. They didn’t even send out the fluid sample in a timely matter, I gave it in the morning and paid for it, but I get an email that same night at 12am saying “we need payment to send the fluid” AFTER I GAVE IT IN AND PAID AT 8am! Then a follow up email “nvm we found the payment” They can’t even keep track of that and send things out in a timely matter! And YES I was a witness when he threw our lifeless Sunny at us and said “Did you come here to complain, or pick up your cat” after we wanted to know some ANSWERS. How can this place care for animals with that type of treatment? PLEASE GET THERAPY. Maybe when you were younger you had a grasp of what it’s like to properly take care of animals but now you treat these animals badly! And treat people like badly!

I made multiple attempts to schedule an appointment after downloading a poorly rated 1-star app from the App Store, indicating its unreliability. The app consistently glitched, prompting me to call and report the issue. The person who answered displayed a disrespectful attitude, convinced that the problem was with my phone, not the app.I gave him the benefit of the doubt because I know the stress of the medical field. So I had my mother and sister download the app, same thing happened to them, confirming its failure. Upon informing him, he persisted it was user error, claiming I didn't fill out the forms correctly. Frustrated, I explained that wasn't the case and sought alternative appointment booking methods. He declined, displaying a dismissive attitude and hanging up. I reside in New Jersey and was attempting to assist a woman in NYC by seeking veterinary care for a cat.Fed up, I made one final attempt with no success. I excused his behavior initially but refused to tolerate it further. I drove to NYC, taking the cat to a local vet in Totowa, where I encountered respectful treatment. The manner in which a business is run is crucial. While I appreciate the aim to assist lower-income individuals, it is never acceptable to speak disrespectfully. As a radiology resident, I would never treat my patients in such a manner or make assumptions based on their background. To prospective patients, I understand that not everyone can afford a regular veterinary service. While I was fortunate enough to cover the cost of surgery for an elderly lady's cat through a conventional veterinary clinic, I realize this might not be an option for everyone. Please conduct thorough research and consider alternatives such as Care Credit or investing in animal insurance if it's not a medical emergency. Reach out to animal shelters for recommendations on reputable vets, as choosing a low-cost veterinarian doesn't necessarily guarantee genuine care for your pets. Your animals deserve compassionate veterinarians who genuinely care about their well-being, so don't hesitate to communicate with veterinary professionals about your situation – many are willing to work with you.I know this was a very long review but I am very passionate about this subject. Low Cost Vet Mobile does not prioritize animal welfare;they prioritize profit. Taking advantage of vulnerable pet owners and using their income as an excuse for your behavior is absolutely vile and you should be ashamed of yourself. After reading these reviews I am so sorry for your patients.

I had a great experience I don’t know what all the bad reviews are about. The vet was great my cat went to get neutered and come to find out he had a heart murmur the doctor was very informative and give me my options and we went ahead with the surgery and my cat Clark was fine I will definitely come back to see about his heart murmur when he heals up when I have the money to take care of it but it definitely affordable I know a lot of the reviews complain about the look of the place but get over it they are doing a great job and providing great care thank you guys

People must be getting paid to say nice things about their experience. They are not low cost not one bit. They are rude as hell. They do not let you see what they do to your pet. They have you wait out side with the door shut. Who does that?? And pls do not pay the $20.00 for an appt., after i paid for my dog and cat 2Xs I still waited on line with everyone else. They just make money off of who really need help. there are so many things wrong with this vet including they are not organized with the paper work. You fill out the paperwork on line to save time and then when you arrive the rude manager says fill them out again we didnt get them. Hes so full of ****. Dont waste your money here!!! There are other low cost vets in the area

The worst experience ever every time you go there. went there last Friday in the pouring rain I was number 3 and they took over two and a half hours just to see my dog. Times before that I was there for at least 4 hours is always awake no matter what time you go. And it seems like they don't care if I could find somewhere that I could afford to take my dog I would definitely go somewhere else for sure. Got to stand outside freezing rain freezing cold Sun hot sun no shelter no nothing if it's raining you got to wait in that rain it's snowing you got to wait in the snow for hours up on hours.

Just don't.It's so disorganized, chaotic, and unprofessional. This is NOT a place that you should trust with the health and safety of your pet.

My kitten died because of them. I’m still unsure of the cause but I’m certain if I had taken her to a real vet, it would probably have been preventable. My sweet girl was 6 wks old and received a clean bill of health from these clowns. I was to bring her back in 3 wks to get the rest of her shots, she passed away before we had the chance to bring her back. I called and informed them that she died, the guy was apologetic but was seemingly more informative about the possible cause of death, than when I brought her when she was alive. It’s a rushed process and they obviously don’t take the necessary time and precaution to keep your pet alive.Avoid at all costs, the low price isn’t worth your let’s life!!My name which isn’t fake, is completely irrelevant at this time because I already spoke to one of the inadequate staff when she died. The response given from this establishment, is exactly why it should be shut down. These people are poor excuses for medical professional’s and human beings. My kitten was a rescue, and was not intentionally taken from her mother by me. This was also communicated to the woman that stands outside and was written on the paperwork I submitted. I was not told anything about her being bottle fed or being too young. The doctor does not come out and speak to you. There’s only a rude heavy set short woman, that speaks fast, gives you back your pet and asks for your payment, while rushing you away. My review isn’t the only negative review, which tells a lot. It’s a shame when businesses attempt to be forthcoming after negligence and put it off on the customer.

PLEASE DONT BRING YOUR FUR BABIES HERE, I was in fact a customer and this is the most honest review. My 4 year old pup came to this man on Tuesday, 9/26. We are in fact "normal people" and cared for our baby with all of our hearts. He had previously gone to a vet for x-rays and was diagnosed with stones in his bladder. The Bronx Vet had my baby cathetered and drained the night prior before going to this man. I had called in about Monday, 9/25 5pm and received a call back around 9pm, I gave all information needed and they reassured they can perform a cystotomy the very next day 9/26. To come first thing in the AM, and we did. We brought my pitbull in around 8am and by 12pm still not seen, they requested xrays done the day before and all results were given. I'd say around 3pm they started to try and put a catheter on my pup with no luck, THAT SHOULDVE BEEN A RED FLAG TO RUN AWAY. but they insisted on letting us know this is common (which we shouldve used our best judgement since the actual vet clinic the day before had done it within minutes). It's now 8pm and they want to keep my pup over night to continue to try and try surgery the next day,.. we do as they say. If this man wasnt equipped to perform the surgery or felt our pup was unsafe, or too sick, even if he felt our pup was too neglected he should have told us he couldnt perform the surgery. For him to proceed with the surgery it had to have meant that our pup had stable vitals and "KIDNEY VALUES" as he mentioned in a response to a review prior to mine. Now Weds, 9/27, all morning no phone call or update its 5:30pm and we're back at their location, our pup has a cone with throw up on it and we have to clean him and walk him but hes not strong enough to walk due to not having a catheter and being "UNRINARY BLOCKED" (he claimed our pup was clogged for 9days but had a catheter the day before he got to him, Monday, 9/25) due to this man not even knowing how to properly place a catheter, and being weak for the past 24 hours within their care. They reassure the surgeon (someone we've never met) will be right in to perform the surgery,.. I think surgery started around 7:51pm, in a beige super small abandoned mini RV, . by 10:27pm i received the most mortifying call ever, my pup was gone. his dad was pleading and begging this man to bring him back to life and what happened but the man would give no explanation what so ever. he left my dead pup in this van and went home to his own dogs to sleep, turned the lights off and left my pups dad outside pleading for help. i get there around 10:45pm and im trying to knock on his door, im doing anything to try and get the door open WE CALLED THE POLICE at 10:55pm (he lied in his response saying that he did which is not true) to come because at this point hes ignoring us completely. the police come and he has no remorse, no sympathy and focuses on the fact that i was trying to get him to open his door for my dogs body or even an explanation, not the fact that he had just killed my dog with out a care in the world. We end up having to leave without my pups body because it was already so late, we were in such an emotional state and had nowhere to take his body at the moment.THE NEXT MORNING, we get back to his location, I knock on his door and within about 5 mins he opens the door and tells me "youre supposed to be here with the police" and closes the door in my face. we had already called the police prior to getting there but they took an hour to arrive, once arrived he handed the police A BILL and grabbed his keys like this was a regular day for him to hand us our dead baby.We still dont know what really happened to our pup he gave no documentation, he said our pup "expired" on another review and blamed us for neglect.PLEASE, I BEG YOU DONT BRING YOUR BABIES HERE. WE LOST A HEALTHY BABY BOY WHO HAD JUST HAD STONES IN HIS BLADDER AND HAD WE KEPT HIM AT THE FIRST VET PROBABLY WOULD STILL BE ALIVE.

Please be careful when bringing your animal here for serious conditions. I brought my fur baby here for kidney failure treatment due to blood work results she received at the aspca. They advised that she would need immediate treatment from her veterinarian. However when I took her to the low cost vet when her condition was clearly declining they only advised to switch her diet to dr.hills kidney care and no treatment was needed. A couple days later she had died a painful death. We have been coming here for years for surgeries and treatments and to have been neglected when she really needed help has not been forgotten. I hope the owner and staff have learned from this huge mistake. The tumors you are mentioning we both discussed and they were not cancerous only fatty tumors which is why I chose not to take them out. This isn’t what killed her the aspca told me correctly and I went to the wrong place for assistance.
