Maspeth Family Laundromat is a decent and convenient laundromat with very nice, friendly, and helpful staff. The neighborhood is much better than other laundromats. It offers affordable prices and a very quick wash and fold drop-off service, which some customers report always does a great job. However, other customers strongly recommend not using the drop-off service, noting that clothes can come back smelling like soggy water or overloaded with detergent, with requests not always followed. The place itself is very old-looking, dusty, and in need of an update, though the washers and dryers are always clean. They have added new dryers but also keep older musty ones. For the best results, it is best to do your laundry yourself.

I have been coming here since they first opened. Had washers and dryers on one side only. They obtained a bigger space with more washers and dryers. All the people who currently work there and those in the past always very nice. Friendly and helpful. I actually like coming here every week.

I come here regularly and the staff is very nice and attentive. I always do the wash and fold drop off pick up service that is very quick and they always do a great job! Also very affordable prices.

I have gone at different times and have never had to wait for a washer or dryer. And that's a plus for me.
