Son tries to justify grossly over-charging me for one or two slices of Boarshead meat with an egg sandwich - that it's premium over other cheap meat sold at other delis, as if I was born yesterday. Glorified bodega and cocky son who needs to go to college. Egg sandwich was good; not worth $9+ though.

Only place open late, 3-5am I need real food and they have it. The old asian guy behind the counter is very nice. Cook also very nice. Food is also great. I used to come every week until my doctor told me to stop eating fast food. Their prices are better than the deli near my apartment so I actually make the walk all the way here.

Terrible store with terrible owners. They literally watched a bunch of robbers loot the cellphone repair shop next door as they not only didn’t call the cops but refused to give the storeowner any bags so he could clean up all the broken glass. JUST AWFUL

Very unprofessional staff, on may 28 I witnessed an Asian man scream racial slurs and arguing in the middle of 71st ave off Queens blvd. The products they offer are inferior to the other businesses around who provide the same services such as flowers and beverages. It may seem a little less convenient because it’s a block away from the train station but it’s worth it. The prices are also steep and the fresh produce looks old. Shop with caution ⚠️

Read the reviews, saw that they were terrible. Had to see for myself. I went with a bad experience in mind and that’s exactly what I got. Nasty workers, questionable sanitation and over priced sandos. It was exactly what I was expecting 5 stars!!

There have been numerous names over the years, but the current iteration of the deli / mini convenience store of 71st/Continental is Mom & Sons. It's no frills and toes the line of what a deli really is versus a standard NY bodega. It's not much to look at, so keep the expectations low. Real low. Most bodegas are small but this one is tiny. If there's more than 3-4 people at a time in here, it's going to feel crowded. The last time I was here, it was super uncomfortable due to the lack of a working AC. The selection of the bodega items is limited and even a little overpriced. I wouldn't bother looking for essentials here or anything remotely niche. This is only a place to stop by when one is on the go and in a hurry. Things aren't a whole lot better from a food front. A good ol BEC (#1) is pretty average here, but I honestly wouldn't expect anything more. Keep the sandwich orders here as simple as possible, especially since their premium selections are A) not that good B) likely to made poorly / incorrect. Service is not their strong point and most of the time, I don't think they care. One thing I'll give them kudos on is their selection of flowers. They are one of the only options in this part of FoHi, which makes them clutch for on-the-go gifts while heading to the subway. ___________ (#1) For the uninitiated, "Bacon Egg and Cheese"
