Why the hell is there no hot water?! It's not a bad place, but I can't understand why there's no hot water?! Do you need to pay extra? I'll pay extra! But make sure there's hot water.

This is the worst planet fitness I've ever been to. Idk how the manager keeps his job but it's atrocious. This place should be shut down and put something useful in there. It's dirty, your lockers get robbed constantly and machines are broken or mobbed by a group of people taking it up for hours. Do yourself a favor and do not go here.

I'm able to come during the day when it's quiet EXCEPT during the summer when there are packs of teenagers working out for free. The kids I've seen have all been well behaved but there's just so many of them and they monopolize the machines. However, I was aware of this before I joined so I deal with it and remind myself I'm only paying $10/month. Otherwise, aside from cleaning stations that always seem to be out of paper towels and fluid, it's a perfectly nice place to workout with a friendly staff and members who do their workouts and mind their own business. Very few muscle heads.

A great value, friendly staff and generally clean, spacious and serviceable. Be wary of their summer program though — roving bands of teenagers sitting around on machines and blocking access. All in all, for the price it’s a pretty decent gym.

It’s been almost 1 month since the ONLY ONE fountain water machine is broken and they don’t even care. So disappointing and disrespectful with the members.

I thought Planet Fitness wasn’t bad and I even disregarded the hate it gets. Most of the machines are out of service and they’re rarely ever fixed. Especially the machines related for the legs. Not only this but they won’t let you in even though your parents pay for the subscription. Just because my parents can’t come with me once because of work, doesn’t mean they’re not paying and providing their salaries.

I am so glad that I came recently to this Planet Fitness ( 86-01 Roosevelt Ave ) to sign up.. I was very impressed by Jessica ( a staff person ) . She was so friendly, patient. very informative and helped me as I signed up. I also want to thank the manager Lissette for her support . What a great team!

Don’t leave your stuff at this place. My locked locker (with a master combination lock on it) was broken into, and before that I had seen multiple incidents of theft because police were called and they would be inside the locker room. Staff are great about it but it happens often and they have a no bags on the floor policy. Don’t leave your belongings here, locked up or otherwise.

It's always crowded no matter what time of the day I go. Don't listen to the crowd meter. It's not reliable. Whenever the meter is 30% full this translates to 80% of the machines are occupied. This gym should stop enrolling new people. It's hard to get a dumbbell because they're being used all the time. If you need a kettlebell, tough luck. This gym doesn't have kettlebells. Many people are on their phones while sitting on the machines not exercising. This is so frustrating as I normally wait for a machine for a long time. The leg curl and leg press are broken for over a month and some of the bikes aren't working properly for who knows how long. This is very upsetting because the main reason why I joined the gym is so that I can rehab my knee after having surgery yet the machines I need the most are broken. I finally canceled my membership as this gym isn't serving my needs. I paid $58 to cancel my 1 year contract early which is very expensive but at least I cut my losses. A few good things I can say about this gym is that there's always an employee who cleans the machines frequently. This gym has elevators so it's fully disability accessible. The gym is very affordable at only $10 per month.

Very crowded with large groups of teenagers mostly hanging out. Also many machines are out of order for months. In addition no fresh air and very warm inside.

I'd rate the Planet Fitness on 10702 Queens Blvd in Queens, NY, a 3/5, and here's why:Paper Towel Shortages: One of the persistent issues at this gym is the frequent shortage of paper towels. This can be quite inconvenient, especially for gym-goers who prefer to clean their equipment before and after use. It's something that the management should address promptly to ensure a more pleasant experience.Summer Pass Influx: The introduction of a summer pass might have been well-intentioned, but it seems to have led to an unintended problem. The influx of students using the gym as a hangout spot or sitting on machines without using them can be frustrating for serious gym enthusiasts. It's essential for gym staff to monitor and manage these situations to maintain a productive workout environment for all members.Machine Availability: Another issue tied to the previous point is the availability of machines. If people are occupying machines without using them efficiently, it can lead to longer wait times and a less effective workout experience. Encouraging proper gym etiquette and ensuring that machines are used for their intended purpose is crucial. While Planet Fitness offers a budget-friendly option for fitness enthusiasts, these issues do affect the overall experience. Improving the availability of paper towels, addressing overcrowding issues during promotional periods, and promoting respectful gym behavior would go a long way in enhancing the gym's rating and providing a more satisfactory experience for its members.

This PF is the best one I have been to, it isn't sketchy, not packed and the lockers aren't broken. the fountain runs great to fill up bottles although it chokes up sometimes. the equipment is new but some are old but still great, it is very modern ? and I feel comfortable working out here.
