I just left there. I spoke with someone on the phone who assured me that the doctor I saw could help me that day although it wasn't an urgent matter. The medical assistant who would do my vital signs forced the temperature probe into my ear and kept the oxygen sensor on my finger for 20 minutes. It was low and she couldn't figure out that it wasn't going to get higher. She got upset with me and stormed out of the room. She treated me like an animal. This was a waste of my time. They tell you anything to get you in the door. Go elsewhere. Not a good experience!

Well I got here at 8am it is now 12pm and still not seen by a doctor. Quick to take your insurance information to get money not attentive to patients. Sat in my car for hours for a simple covid test. Everyone that was here before me left and they are now taking people that just showed up and I'm still here. The guy by the door is not nice he is a womanizer talks disrespectful to women. He stops you but no people skills simply couldn't take a second to find out what my number was and did t tell me about the number to begin with. I'm still out here my fever is getting worst and I told staff about my condition but they just make me wait loner. DO NOT GO HERE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

I've come to this urgent care multiple times. I woke up this morning with covid symptoms. I called them to ask about the wait time for a Covid test today and they said that the first half of the day was booked and to try calling back at 3. I took my temperature and had 103.7 fever. My mom called them back for me, since I had no energy to do so and they told her to bring me in at 2:30. We get there at 2:25pm. I was stopped and told that I needed to come back at 3:30. I explained that I was told to come at 2:30 but I was still turned away. We waited in the car and at 3pm a line began forming outside. I stood outside to get in line. At 3:30 we were given numbers. These numbers were just numbers to put our information in at the front desk. 4:20 rolls around and they still have not called one person in and were not updating us. I was standing outside in the cold with a fever and extreme body aches. I went inside to ask for some type of update. I was told to "just be patient". I explained that I was not trying to complain but just wanted to know when we would be called in so we could at least wait in the car. I was told it would be several more hours to be seen and a woman behind the desk gave me an attitude saying "you'll be called in shortly." -mind you I was told to come in at 2:30 and it's now almost 4:30 and they still have not even taken my name. I was fed up and left and got my covid test at Cross Bay Chemist. I still stood on line but was able to register upon walking in, stood on line for about 30 mins and had my results in 15.

I had emergency on the Fourth of July and I went to this facility. When you first walk in the place is nice and clean. The lady at the desk was very friendly. She asked if it was OK that we sit in our car because of the Covid restrictions. I told her sure no problem. I had to go back in to ask her a question, and she told me that they were ready for me. She also offered me something to drink. I guess by to look at my eyes she could tell that I was a bit flustered and was not feeling well at all. She came back with a bottle of water and a can of Ginger ale and a cup. I was very grateful and thankful. She made me feel quite at home. And very welcome. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone. They very clean and very friendly. And I will be coming back again. Thank you again for your hospitality.

I arrived as a walk-in after 9:00 AM on a Friday. It was extremely busy. I didn’t interact too much with the women at the front desk but I can imagine they go crazy saying the same thing over and over. I registered on the pad as is the procedure and then went to my car to fill out the forms online and wait. It appeared that I was in for a long wait. According to the app there were 17 people ahead of me and I considered going home for a while. I was glad I didn’t. The wait was less than an hour when I received a text message to go in. The medical assistant and the PA were very nice and thorough with my exam. I have been here before COVID and the atmosphere was a little more relaxed then.

My experience at ProHEALTH Urgent Care of Howard Beach was amazing. Staff are courteous, efficient and professional. The doctor was very kind with excellent bedside manners; he took his time to answer all of my questions where I did not feel rushed even though it was after 7pm.It was a pleasant experience and I would definitely recommend utilizing their medical expertise when necessary.

My daughter and I did our COVID testing on Sunday and the process was quick, easy and completely safe. Ana did out tests and she was very nice, as was Patricia who came in after to speak to us briefly. We got there 10 minutes before our appointments and we were done in 5 minutes. Very clean venue.

This is my go to location when I can’t get a doctors appointment quick and I’m feeling sick or discomfort. Even with the pandemic, they still have a smooth operation where you can be seen without a long wait. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. They make sure you’re fully informed of your medical status and if it’s something they can’t assist with in house, they definitely point you in the right direction of care. I will always choose them!

I would give them a negative rating if I could. The office staff is TERRIBLE. It has been 5 days and still no results on my sons PCR COVID test. I called and spoke with 2 people who said they would call me back and never did. I explained all of this to a 3rd person who tried to say they would cal me back. I asked to speak to a Manager. I was told they left for the day. I then explained that I am not comfortable hanging up hoping they will call me back as this is the 3rd time I was told this and nothing. The person got rude and then said I’m hanging up, HORRIBLE customer service. And I still do not have test results.

I came here with a bad case of strep throat.. I was in excruciating pain and asked the doctor if she had Tylenol because it was so hard to swallow and I needed anything that would help at the moment. She pretty much treated me like I was an addict over 2 regular Tylenols! No care that I was in pain, just rude and uncaring.

2:00 pm Appointment. Waited over an hour to get in. All walk-ins that were there beforehand got preference over those with an appointment. No point of booking.

I have been to this urgent care multiples times but have never experience what I experience at my last visit. I took my daughter on 9/21/21 because she was having COVID-symptoms and was told by both ladies in the front that my insurance was not working. After verifying my insurance the next day, I took my daughter back. We ended up waiting about three hours and felt like they were prejudice because they took the Caucasian patient that register after me in. As I was inquiring about my wait, the patient was leaving and asked if I was still waiting, stating that she came after me and apologized to me. Upon entering the exam room on 9/22/21, they did not take complete vital signs. I had to ask the medical assistant to take our blood pressure. They basically did nothing other a rapid COVID test. As a health care professional, they should have listen to my daughter lungs. I had chest pain and they did nothing. Two days later, I followed up with my PCP because I was feeling horrible and of course the assessment was very different. As of today, my symptoms has resolved and I am feeling 100% better. Thanks to my PCP, Dr. Sophia Small.

While I was at the center, everything was very, very good. The people were polite and I really did not have to wait as long as I had expected. However, when I tried to call, it took almost 10 phone calls before I got an answer the first time and then the person was incredibly rude. I called a few more times needing information and each time I had to make several calls before anything got answered, not even recording the first few times, and whoever I spoke to on the phone was rude and when I said thank you for helping me they didn’t respond, they just hung up. I was actually sorry I made the appointment there. I considered going somewhere else, but I needed some thing that day. Based on my phone experience I never intended to go there again. Based on my experience while I was there I would definitely consider it. My rating for the center itself would’ve been a five and my rating for the phone would’ve been a one so I decided to be generous and give a four.
