“After selling my home in Michigan I booked a several-month Airbnb stay in the NYC area and commenced my search for a new home. After a lengthy conversation with a realtor who was recommended by a friend, I received a list of coop apartments and condos to review. I felt he hadn’t listened to anything I was saying. Several days later I saw a listing online for an apartment in Astoria that was offered by Horowitz Real Estate. Peter Horowitz promptly arranged a time to show me that apartment as well as a 2-bedroom
apartment that had just become available in Astoria. I knew immediately this apartment was the apartment for me. My 32 year-old son accompanied me to the showing and commented afterwards how personable and transparent Peter was. Although I was unfamiliar with the New York real estate process and coop procedures in general, Peter assured me he would offer any help I needed and he definitely kept his word.
He recommended an attorney who was not only extremely competent and personable but very reasonable in his fees by NY standards. During the final walk-through Peter offered and then provided a final cleaning after I noted that although the apartment was very clean, the inside of the windows and sills could use an extra wipe-down.
I am looking forward to settling into my wonderful Astoria apartment and am grateful in every way for the services that the entire Horowitz Real Estate team provided.”
